1

Begin with a small circle for the head, then sketch in the facial guidelines.

2

Using the shape you just made in step one, begin sketching out the actual structure to Manny's head, face and then his trunk. The sides of the face have a wrinkle wave pattern so be sure to make the lining in this manner.

3

Start drawing out his small ears, then draw in the very expressive eyes. Color in the pupils, then sketch in the wrinkles or creases on his trunk like so between his eyes. Add detailing to the lower part of the trunk, then proceed to step four.

4

As you know Manny has that spurt of hair that sticks up and falls over like a fountain on top pf his head. Draw in this hair, and then draw the back part of his body starting behind the hair spout.

5

Next and lastly, draw the large curled tusks, then draw in the front part of his body which is the chest and legs combined. You will end this step by erasing your mistakes.

6

Here is Manny when you are done. Now you can color him in and add this drawing to your Ice Age character collection.

Description: Here is the last lesson that I have to upload today, and it's also the second character from the Ice Age films. He is the main character of Ice Age, here is "how to draw Manny", step by step. Manny is a woolly mammoth in the film and through the first two movies he thinks that he is the only one left of his kind along with Sid. Sid also thinks he is the last of his kind. Manny starts off to be a very bitter, and sort of depressed character. The first friend he meets is Sid, then the baby, and then Diego. From the very start Manny didn't trust Diego, but for some reason Sid did. But then again Sid trusts everyone until it's too late. Manny is the type of friend that would risk his own life to save the ones he loves. I love the transformation that Manny goes through because he starts off being a loner that doesn't need nobody, to a friend that cares about his family. He is voiced by the very funny Ray Romano, so this makes him even more entertaining to watch. I include a link where you can check out some fun pages to color Manny and his friends. I hope you have an awesome time with drawing Manny because I know I most certainly did. Have fun folks, and remember to rate, comment, and fav all the lessons you view here on Dragoart.com today!
