Start the first step by making a total of four shapes. The first two will be for the heads, then the last two will be for the bodies. Connect them with neck guidelines.

2

Let's draw the heads of both cats. I like to start at the top, but you can begin where you like or how you like. Draw the heads and faces from a side profile, then draw the necks. Make the back part of the faces fluffy for their hairy coats.

3

Instead of drawing two cat bodies at the same time, we will just start with one. Begin at the back of the head and draw the neck, followed by the lining that forms the back, and tail. Continue with the body by drawing the front and back legs, as well

4

Time for the second cat. Start the same way you did the first body you drew. Draw the back of the neck, then continue the lining to shape out the back, and fluffy tail. End this step by sketching out the shoulder, leg, stomach and some of the back th

5

Draw the cat's back leg and paws completely, then begin sketching in the face. You will only have to draw the eyes, ear detailing, nose, mouth, teeth and whiskers. Also add definition to the body muscles too.

6

For the last drawing step all you have to do is draw in the remaining legs, paws, facials, and body detailing on the first cat you drew. When you're done erase the mistakes so you have a nice cleaned up image to color in.

Here is how the cats looks when you are all done. Now you can color them in to your liking.

Description: This is one of those drawings that I really, really enjoyed making. I was asked if I could make a lesson based on two cats fighting. The request sounded like a cool idea, but I didn’t know how I was going to approach the concept. While I was thinking I saw my two kittens playing at the corner of my eye. At first it was a playful dance that they were doing, but it soon turned into a playful fight instead. The poses of the cats in this tutorial will be based on how I saw the kittens yesterday when they were rough housing with one another. The colors of the kittens are the same as the ones I have in my house. This lesson will show you "how to draw fighting cats", step by step. This lesson is going to be super fun to tackle because the cats look so cute even though they have scratches and a little blood exposed. If you like drawing cats, you will definitely enjoy these two fighting felines in action. The only advice I can give you is to take your time, and try not to rush through the lesson because you want to make sure that the sketch comes out nice. Well, that’s it for now. Enjoy and make sure you upload your finished work when you’re done, as well as leave comments, and ratings on the lessons you view and try out today.
