Okay lets start this first step by drawing out the rocky lining for the top of the waterfall which will be the top of the trees at the very top of the waterfall. You will then draw out the long straight lines on both sides to make the stream of water

I know you must be saying "what kind of step is this"? The answer to that is, it's not. This step is meant to be labeled as a drago tip. Here you will learn some useful tips on how the cliffs should be drawn in future steps. All you have to do is cli

In this next step you will start drawing out the vertical lines in the waterfall. This will aid you into creating a marvelous looking sketch that looks realistic as well. Once that is done start sketching out the detailing definition lines on the rig

How are you doing so far? Well I know if you made it this far you are doing just fine. What you will do next is draw the remaining five vertical lines in the waterfall to complete the effect. Than you will start sketching out the tree and rock detail

Well guess what you have just accomplished? Yup, you are on your last drawing step. What you will do here is start adding the sketchy shading to define the shapes of the mountain rocks as you see here. Once that is done you will draw a three leaf bun

And here is your finished art work when you are done. All you have to do now is color this beautiful looking waterfall in any way you see fit. I hope you all enjoyed this fun drawing lesson on how to draw a waterfall step by step the same as I did.

Description: Welcome back visitors and members of DragoArt.com to another fun filled drawing lesson that will sweep you off your feet. In this next tutorial I will be showing you "how to draw a waterfall", step by step. Now as you know waterfalls are probably one of the prettiest looking landmasses around in the world. Some may ask “what is a waterfall”? That question can easily be answered with a simple response. Waterfalls are geological formations that consists of water which is usually in the form of a stream. The stream cascades over a collection of rocks and boulders that are set deep into the earth. These rocks are resistant to erosion which is why waterfalls keep their unique cascading beauty when flowing down. Now as far as I know there are a total of ten different types of waterfalls and the first one is called a block which is a mass of water that falls from a wide river stream. The next type is called a cascading waterfall which is a flow of water that falls over a series of rock like steps. Then there is a cataract, these waterfalls are big, and powerful. Then you have the fan waterfall which is heavy flowing water that falls in a horizontal angle and stays attached to the bedrock it falls from. There are several other different kinds of waterfalls like a horsetail, plunge, punchbowl, segmented, tiered, and multi-step waterfall. There are also some record breaking waterfalls in existence like Angel Falls which is the world’s highest waterfall in Venezuela which stands at 3,212 feet tall. Now if you want to know what the largest waterfall in existence is, I would have to tell you the truth. Victoria Falls is the largest waterfall in the world and she is located on the border of Zimbabwe and Zambia. Did you know that Victoria Falls is more than one mile long? It’s true, this massive landscape is the world’s biggest known waterfall. So no matter if you spot a small cascading waterfall in the tropical forest or the coves of the United States, they are all magnificently beautiful in their own way. This tutorial will show you "how to draw a waterfall", step by step. I hope you will all like this online drawing lesson that I have submitted for you today. I will be back soon with more so stick around gang there is more on the way.
