1

You can start by drawing an egg shape like so. This will be for Chu's body.

2

Next, begin drawing out the actual structure of Chu's body. This should include the stubby ears, middle part of the head, and then the body like so.

3

All you have to do here is draw in the eye and color in some pupils. The eyes should "POP" out like you see here.

4

Lastly, draw in some feet by making thin lines. Once that is done you can go ahead and begin cleaning up your drawing.

5

Here is Chu Totoro when you are done. Now you can grab your blue marker, crayon, pencil, or what have you and begin the coloring process.

Description: Here is another character from My Neighbor Totoro. He is the blue totoro that is not as big as Totoro. I guess you could say he is the middle sized, blue bundle of joy. Having said that, let’s learn "how to draw Chu Totoro", step by step. Chu is going to be easier to draw then the chibi version we did on Totoro. There really isn’t much I can say about this character because there is not that much 411 on him. I do know that when he is first introduced in the movie, he is walking with a sack of nuts. The bag he is carring has a hole in it and because of this, as he walks the nuts fall from the sack and leaves a nut trail. Chu is a cute character that is really fun to draw. I think you will enjoy drawing Chu Totoro because he is one of the totoro’s in the movie “My Neighbor Totoro”. I shall return in a jiffy so stay tuned in. Peace out and like always enjoy!
