Hello again kiddies I am back with my second drawing lesson of the day. Now I know you guys remember one of the last tutorials that I submitted on a chibi angel right? Well I thought that I would show you how to draw an anime angel boy step by step. This anime angel is a boy version opposed to a female. I mean how often do you see drawings or sketches of a male angel? Not too often that’s how much. At first I was going to shade my angel the way I did the chibi angel, but then I thought “maybe I should leave it looking like a cartoon angel instead”. So that is exactly what I did. I drew out a rough sketch of the anime angel character which literally took me forever, four hours to be exact. The reason why the sketch took so long is because I did the whole drawing in Photoshop from beginning to end. When you do it like that there is so many flaws that you see later on when the sketch is complete. When I finished I asked my parents to come and take a look at what I had finished and they pointed out a few mistakes, like his right arm and the butterfly. At first I colored and shaded in the anime angel boy the way I color almost all of my drawings of people whether it is anime, chibi, or cartoon. The shading technique I used made him look hungry like he was malnourished, and that was pretty funny looking. So I deleted all the layers of shade and left the angel colored in as a cartoon like style. The end result is what you see here and to me he came out pretty sweet. Even thought this character took me forever, I had a lot of fun drawing and coloring this innocent looking angel boy. Now it is your turn to learn how to draw an anime angel boy step by step. The instructions are written out so that you will have an easy time reading them and the steps are simple to follow. I hope you love this online drawing lesson as much as I did. I will be back in a while with some more drawing fun so stay tuned folks there is more on the way.
