1

Start by drawing an oblong ring shape like so, then proceed to step two.

2

From the top, you will begin drawing out your mound of rice. The lining should be drawn in a tight crinkled manner. Draw some pods of rice like so, then move to step three.

3

Next, you will draw in your chopsticks which are sticking right into the big bowl of rice.

4

Lastly, all you have to do is draw the bowl that the rice is sitting in. You can choose any style bowl you like. Erase the mistakes and you are all done.

Here is what your bowl of rice looks like when all is said and done. Thanks for joining me for another Asian inspired dish.

Description: Rice, rice, and more rice. Who doesn't like a good bowl of hot Chinese style rice or regular kind for that matter. Rice is probably one of my favorite parts to eating any type of Asian food because it can hold so much flavor by coming in a variety of styles. There is pork, shrimp, beef, lobster, and vegetable fried rice, as well as plain, sticky, and traditional rice. This tutorial is going to show you "how to draw rice", step by step as it appears in a bowl stabbed with chopsticks. I love drawing food so what better way to make food then to draw what you love to eat. I like eating plain white rice with steamed vegetables as well as with sesame style chicken. At first I didn't know how I was going to make a lesson on drawing rice, then I realized that making a mound and then adding some pieces of rice would probably do the job and I was right. I know you guys will like this tutorial on drawing a bowl of rice because I had fun making it. When you're done I guarantee that you will find yourself making rice to eat either when you're done, or later today.
