When is the last time that I made a tutorial on a musical instrument? If I ask myself this question there is only one way for me to answer and that is by saying "a very long time". Today I will be teaching you guys "how to draw a cello", step by step. What is a cello you ask? Well, if you look at the image you can see that it looks like a very large violin and that is mainly because of the fact that the cello belongs to the violin family. To put things in a more specific understanding; cellos are bowed string instruments that have only four strings that are tuned in perfect fifths. If you are one of those people that play the cello, you are known or called a cellist which is sort of cool because just the word 'cellist' sounds pretty significant. The very design of the cello is extraordinary because it is such a big instrument that needs to be played by the cellist in a sitting position. The peg or endpin at the base of the cello is built to support the heavy weight and it does this by resting on the endpin when being played. Some famous cellist are Yo-Yo Ma, Julian Lloyd Webber, Antonio Stradivari, and Soo Bae are among some of the more popular cellist that are talked about. Antonio Stradivari was not only a cellist, he was also a cello maker, and his instruments today sell for millions of dollars. Anyways I hope you guys like this lesson on "how to draw a cello". I worked hard on it and despite how the cello looks in the painted image, it was sort of difficult to make this lesson look interesting to tackle. I know those of you that play the cello will appreciate the tutorial. That's it for me or for this lesson at least. I will return with more drawing fun so stay tuned in. Peace people and enjoy!
