You will begin this lesson on drawing a spider tattoo by making two shapes that should be connected to one another.

2

Next, you will now draw in the two humps on the spider's "head" which is really called the chelicera. The hook like shapes that you see are the spider's mandibles which means you will have to draw this part of the spider's anatomy in as well.

3

You will now draw shape of the thorax, and be sure that the outer lining has some nice detailing to show the light hairs that spiders sometimes have covering their bodies. Once that is cone you can draw in a couple eyes, and then start the process wi

4

Continue the process with drawing the rest of the spider's legs and for now there is six. There is a total of four parts to the leg so make sure to draw them accurately.

5

All you have to do here is draw the abdomen for the spider, and move to step six.

6

Lastly, draw the back legs the very same way you did the first six. When you are done with the legs you should end up will eight legs in all. Clean up the drawing to complete the drawing process.

7

Here is your design of a spider tattoo. color it in any shade you like, and also add the shading under the body and legs like the main image shows.

Description: I was going through some of the art I have in the tattoo section and I found that I have never made a tutorial on "how to draw a spider tattoo", step by step. I literally could not believe my eyes when I found that I never created a spider tattoo. When I was thinking of a cool design I wanted to make something that I have seen a lot on the arms, legs, and backs of various people. After thinking and looking at all sorts of designs, I finally went ahead with a concept that is going to make the spider look like it’s coming off the skin for a realistic effect. Instead of creating a fictional type of spider, I went ahead and tried to make an actual spider design. What makes the spider look like it’s popping off the skin is the shadowing that is drawn in under the body and legs. It is a relatively easy spider to create which means I feel confident that you will do a good job with replicating the spider tattoo. Remember, tattoos are fun because you can alter them to look like anything you want. I will be back in a few so hang around to see what turns up new. Peace out people!
