Okay folks, start by making a circle for the head and then the shape of the clock's body like so. Sketch in some face guides as well as a body guide.

2

You will now need to draw Cogsworth face, as well as the wood crown which is a decorative feature that acts as wig that men used to wear back in those days.

3

Draw the sketched in detailing on his crown, and then draw the eyes, eyebrows, and then color in the eyeballs. Draw the winder for his nose as well as the clock arms. Make a smile and some big cheeks.

4

Next, draw the actual shape of the body for the clock like so, which is as you can see almost bell shaped. Draw the decorative arms, and then move to step five.

5

Sketch in the detailing which is the woodwork on the arms, and then draw the nice detailing on the chest. Make the pendulum bob, as well as the arm for it.

6

For the last step, draw the base of the clock which also acts as the legs. Sketch in detailing along the base and then clean up the drawing.

7

The line art looks like the drawing you see here, so go ahead and color Cogsworth in.

Description: Here is another character that I love from Beauty and the Beast, and if you have watched the movie before, I know for a fact that you guys love him too. Today I will show you all "how to draw Cogsworth", step by step and if you are unsure as to what Cogsworth’s job is in the castle, let me tell you. Cogsworth is what you call a majordomo. Majordomos are individuals that make arrangements, speak to others regarding plans and they are also people that hold the highest stature in a castle or other households. Cogsworth is what you call an extremely uptight character that thinks everything is a bad idea. He would much rather keep his master pleased, and stress free by obeying his every command. Unlike his rival Lumiere, Cogsworth gets extremely upset when Lumiere lures Belle into the enchanted castle. Later in the film he realizes that she just may be the one who breaks the spell and frees everyone from their extremely long torment. Originally Beauty and the Beast is a fairytale that was published back in 1756. Over the years the readings has been made into plays, movies and even recreated as a children’s book. I have always loved the tale of Beauty and the Beast and if you are a fan of the book, you should like drawing Cogsworth which is a Disney recreation of the original character. I have to bounce out of here for now but I shall return. Peace people and enjoy!
