How to Draw the Devil

Step 1.

So are you all ready to learn how to draw a this devil or what? Good, so let's start by drawing a circle for the top half of his head and then draw a cone like shape for his chin and jaw. You will then add the facial guidelines and then the guidelines for his huge horns and shoulders.

Step 2.

In this step you will start sketching the shaping lines of hie cheeks and then the brow of his eyes. Then sketch add the beginning lining for his narrow pointed nose and the sharp jagged lines for the devils teeth. You will also shape out the thickness of the horns as shown and then draw out the shape of his jaw and chin. Before you leave this step you will add the collar bones and neck lines.

Step 3.

Okay you are finally on the third step and you know what that means right? Yes, you are almost done. You will add the definition and shape to the top of the head and then add the smaller horns as seen here. You will add the eyeballs and then detail the slanted eyebrows as seen. You will also begin sketching in the crinkle on the nose and then draw the gums for his teeth. Detail the horns and then add some definition to the devil's cheeks and neck and add the lining for his shoulders.

Step 4.

Okay well guess what? You have made it to your last drawing step. You will take your time and detail the area around the horn which is the skin. You are trying to make his horns look like they are coming out of his head. Then add more crinkle lines on the bridge of the nose and then detail around the mouth by adding frown lines and lip lines. Detail his chin to make it look predominate. Add collar bone detail and then erase all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one.

Step 5.

Okay well you have made it and you are finally done. I know you did a good job because you always do. All you have to do now is color him in and you have completed this tutorial on how to draw the devil step by step.

Well I just submitted a tutorial on a Great White and now you are about to learn how to draw another evil looking character from truth, fiction and tales. For my next drawing lesson I will be showing you how to draw the Devil step by step. The devil to us has many meanings and he has many different types of image depictions as well. This being of evil has been called Lucifer, Satan, Diablo, a Demon and "Prince of Darkness". Of course there are many other names, but these are the most common. But who is he really? Well if you want to go by the Christian biblical terms, than everyone knows who the devil is; he is a fallen angel that God condemned and was cast away into the “lake of fire”. When others describe on what they believe the bible says about the devil, he is just a medifore to explain why there is human sin and temptation amongst us all. Others believe that when the bible says that Lucifer appeared to Eve in the form of a serpent in the Garden of Eden and manipulated her to bite from the apple that she shared with Adam. The devil has been used in many movies and video games over time with the most popular being the computer game “Diablo” and “Mundus” from the hit video game “Devil May Cry”. As for movies one of the most memorable characters that had a devil as one of the main characters was “Legend”. The devil was named “The Lord of Darkness”. The devil is usually described as having red colored rough skin, black thick bull like horns, very muscular, and even at times having the bottom have of his body resemble a goat or ox. I chose to draw my depiction of the devil by surrounding him with flames and very mean, evil, and chilling. Even though this creature is seen in games and movies, he is also a very popular image that men and woman use for tattoo art. Since the devil is a very popular tattooing stencil, I will place this tutorial in the pop culture category under tattoos. I will show you how easy it is to learn how to draw the devil step by step. I left the finished line art as a sketch so you can see how your drawing should look when it is done. I hope you will enjoy this drawing lesson that I have presented to you today. I will be back with more drawing fun in a bit so stay tuned. Peace out people.
