Description: Well yesterday was my day off and during that day I was deciding what to put up for tutorials today. So, I chose to do another DC Comics character that I am fond of because she rocks. In today's lesson I will be showing you how to draw Catwoman step by step. Now as you know this famous female character is from the DC Comic universe and her real name is Selina Kyle. She lives in Gotham City along with Batman. Now since I don't watch any of the animated series that involve Catwoman I am basically going to fill you in on the version I know of from the movie Batman Returns. Now from what I have gathered Selina worked as an assistant to Max Schreck. She first meets Bruce Wayne when Wayne has a meeting with Schreck in his office. Selina comes in with a tray of coffee and they both exchange glances. Now Selina is a lonely nobody that lives with her cat Miss Kitty, and she comes home to an answering machine filled with messages by her mother. One night she goes to the office to do extra work and notices something wrong with the information that her boss has in his files. It seems as though Mr. Schreck has plans on taking all of the cities energy or something like that. He finds her snooping through his files and he knows that she knows about his plans. So what does he do? He pushes her out the window and she falls down to the cement ground where she is then devoured it seems, by a bunch of alley cats. All these cats some how bring her back to life and then she walks home all discombobulated. The first thing she goes for when she goes home is the milk in the fridge. She soon realizes what she has become and begins taking a black shiny leather coat ripping and sewing it together to form a very seductive cat suit. When the cat suit is done she becomes Gotham's new threat, Catwoman is born. Out of the two movies that stared, Catwoman my favorite was Batman Returns. Michelle Pfeiffer really did bring her character to life. This tutorial will show you how draw Catwoman step by step with simple detailing. I tried making her look sexy and feline at the same time so I hope you enjoy this lesson to the fullest. I will be back with more drawing lessons for you to learn from so stay tuned gang, and maybe grab a cup of milk.
