Drawing Erik is going to be easy as pie. All you have to do is draw the small circle for the head and then make the shape for his very round body. Add the facial guidelines.

2

Begin sketching out the head of Erik like you see here and then draw in the markings on the face which actually gives some sort of structure. The rounded areas of the markings is where the eyes will be drawn in later steps. When you are done move to

The next thing you will do is draw in the face using the facial guidelines you made in step one. Sketch in the eyes, color in the pupils, and thicken the lining on the top lid. Next, draw the mouth as well as color in the inside of the mouth so you c

The head is all done. Now you can draw out the body starting with the wings, and then draw out the big blob looking body.

You have already come to the last step. What you have to do now is just draw out the feet as well as the long toes. As you know penguins only have three toes on their feet. Erase the mistakes and prepare your drawing for color.

When you are done, you should end up with a drawing that looks like the one you see here. Now you are ready to color in Erik and add him to the Happy Feet collection.

Description: How many of you heard that Happy Feet 2 is already in theaters around the world, and how many of you want to recreate your own favorite characters from the movie? Well, I already have a tutorial on Mumble and Gloria, but I don’t have lessons on two other characters that will be talked about for a while. The first tutorial of the day is going to be on "how to draw Erik", step by step. Now I don’t know much about this penguin from the movie because I have not yet seen it. I can tell you that Erik is Mumble’s son, and in part two, Mumble is considered to be the master of tap. Unfortunately Mumble has a problem with getting his son Erik to dance, and because of this Erik runs away and meets up with a mysterious penguin that has a colorful bill and can actually fly. I read what the story was about, but instead of telling you all the 411, I’ll just let you see for yourselves and be surprised. I think there is a bunch of new characters and crustaceans, as well as a lot of singing and dancing. Erik is as cute as a button, and if you were or are a fan of the first Happy Feet, you will love learning the ropes of drawing Erik from Happy Feet 2. I will be back with more fun so don’t go anywhere guys, the day is still young.
