There's not really much I can say about myself if I'm honest... Broken, bust up but getting better. My life consists of College, My girlfriend and keeping myself fit.
I enjoy working out about as much as I enjoy drawing, possibly more. Never done a lesson in art, all my skill comes from endless trying and failing at other peoples tutorials, my skill level still has a long way to go but I'm proud of what I can do.
I am however a firm believer that it isn't me that draws (bear with me this always sounds weird) I just come up with the ideas my pencil does the work for me and depending on how strongly I feel depends on how well the pencil creates it.
Well... That's all for now I might update sometime in the future but to sum up...
Tools of the trade
- Any pencil I can get my hands on as long as it's got a sharp point (can't draw with blunt pencils :/)
- Fine liners and Biros for inking fully completed work.
- Rulers (For obvious reasons)
- Rubbers, because everyone makes mistakes... But, even mistakes can end up being perfection.
- Anything I can make a mark on paper with. It may seem vague but I will draw with anything I can draw with.
I enjoy listening to music, learning lyrics and performing for those who'll listen, I do impressions and accents to make those around me smile an laugh. Working out in my life is paramount. Above almost everything though when I feel strongly and get an idea, when I get inspired I love to sit down and let my pencil run free on paper, sometimes even a mess about on paper can turn into a drawing or even an idea that leads to bigger and better drawings.
Can't actually remember the last time I sat down and read a book, I can however remember the name of the book I found the most engaging, It was called The Black Book of Secrets by F.E. Higgins, 10/10 would read again.
I'll give anything a watch, but being a Deadpool fan of about 10 years now. I would have to say Deadpool holds my top spot until Hardcore Henry comes out. Any marvel movie hold a special place in my mind, as well as the likes of Mortal Instrument City of Bones and other Fantasy movies that comtain witches, wizards, runes, vampire and werewolves... Need I go on...
Again, I'll listen to just about anything but the music that's been with me all my life has been mostly rap based, the likes of Tupac, Eminem, Notorius B.I.G, Twista, Kid inc, Bad Meets Evil, Slaughter House, among other artists. recent additions to my playlist however is mostly Grime based, mostly Fire in the Booth writtens with the likes of Lowkey, Bugzy Malone, Stormzy, Akala and some of Doc Browns radio sessions with Charlie Sloth and Tim Westwood.
If you live life going fast, your brain never slows down :P
