Welcome to another tutorial here on DragoArt. In tonight’s lesson, we will be learning “how to draw a demon boy, step by step”. I wanted to do a devil boy series very similar the recent tutorials on the “angel girl” and “devil girl” just reversed in boy format. I thought the idea was really unique and cool, not to mention fun as well. We’ll be tuning in on a side view of an devil guy with deathly wings and sizzling red hot skin that will make yours melt. If you’ve seen Hellboy, you’d probably recall this dude his cousin or son. I love the contrasting colors of his red hot skin, as well as black hair, black wings, and studded belt revealing that slender – toned bod of his (ouch!) Anyhow, I had so much fun with this tutorial, especially having the treat to shape this boy’s body in such a sensual fashion, enough to make all the fangirls scream. Lots of visitors here are female, and I figured since I draw so many naked females, why not do hot devil guys? I hope ya’ll will enjoy taking a bite at this tutorial. STEP 1.
First, let's begin with the guidelines for our smexified devil boy. You'll want to use a circular object to trace over to make a semi-perfect circle. Make sure you draw your guidelines accurately in order to desired results. Try to draw them LIGHTLY!
STEP 2.
Next, let's shift our attention to the base of the head; at this point, the hair takes up most of the head. Draw the edges of each strand nice and razored.
STEP 3.
Now, take a pencil and draw the shine on the hair FIRST! Do no shade then erase marks similar to the white. Draw a border around the shine to lay a boundary for your dark shadows.
STEP 4.
Then, to finish the base of the head, let's sketch a jaw and other facials to heaten up this manly demon. It's optional feature to add your own piercings at this point.
STEP 5.
Next, let's work on the neck first before we work on the shoulders and eventually the stomach/chest. Let's draw the back and chest, then sketch out the shoulder and arm.
STEP 6.
Working slowly, we'll finish off the arm so we'll have a sweet head start on the rest of the body and wings! Try drawing angular edges to add 'variety' to your drawing.
STEP 7.
To add more hotness, we'll start sketching the muscular wing arm and the membrane/fingers that build that bat/dragon look!
STEP 8.
Then, we'll finish off all the wings, keeping the outer shaped lines thicker than the detailing inside lines. This will add variety to your lines, keeping viewer's interest.
STEP 9.
Oh oh oh! My FAVORITE part, the stomach and those spicy abs. Let's draw the protruding stomach and arched back, proceeding our sketching expertise to the belt. Ohhh, I can't wait to move onto the next part! *So much tension*
STEP 10.
Lastly, the most fun part for me, the ever so smexy leather rockstar styled pants (how could you not?) If there's something wicked with toned demon guys, it's definitely the leather pants xD Use the same techniques presented in the previous step with the hair.
STEP 11.
With proportion proofing and line cleanup, you should have something similar to this. By furthering your already succeeded challenge, ink out your drawing to get the lovely desired 'black' look. When you scan your inked drawing, using a digital photo editing program to color correct your drawing to make it look more digital. Anyways, thanks for viewing and leave your suggestions below.
