Learn How To Draw Drew Barrymore
This tutorial will easily teach you how to draw Drew Barrymore. Drew Barrymore is a famous Hollywood actress that stared in many films such as E.T, Duplex, and 50 First Dates and so on. Drawing Drew really isn’t hard as it may seem. All you have to do is follow these few simple steps and you will be on your way of becoming a Hollywood artist. The only tools you will need are a No.2 pencil, clean sheet of paper, an extra eraser and an open mind. Remember to take your time, try not to get frustrated because as you know practice makes perfect. When sketching your drawing try and keep your lines clean and straight. Drew Barrymore has almost a flawless looking face so there is no need to worry about detailing wrinkles. Keep the lining bold to emphasize her unique look, paying close attention to her smile, eyes, and chin. In this sketch we show you the easiest way to draw the adorable Drew Barrymore. STEP 1.
First start off with an oval shape with a slightly protruding jaw line. This is obviously the shape of her face.
STEP 2.
Next we'll move on to placing the eye and nose shapes. Since Drew's face is looking at us from over her shoulder, the right eye will look like its close to her face structure.
STEP 3.
Now were going to put more detail into her nose and eyes by adding nostrils and pupils. See how her eyes are giving the appearance that she is looking at you.
STEP 4.
After we touch up the eyes and nose, lets move on to her eye brows and the lining for her lips. Drew has eye brows that are thin on the ends, so try mot to make her eye brow lining to thick.
STEP 5.
Add more details to her eyes by giving her some eyes lashes and eye lids. Also shape her lips and give her a smile crease to her mouth. At this point you can add the shaping to her ear.
STEP 6.
We are going to start giving her face arches and put some more detailing into her eyes and chin.
STEP 7.
We can proceed now onto her hair. Try and make her her look lively and give it the appearance of blowing in the wind.
STEP 8.
Add more detailing to her hair, eyes, nose, and ears. After that looks good to you give her a shoulder with a simple upside down L and a straight line coming down starting from the middle of her face. To find the middle just make a light line from her point in the hair line to the bottom of the chin.
STEP 9.
The last step is to clean up your sketch lines and add color if you choose. For me Drew Barrymore looks nice with no color at all, but your the artist so you can choose what you like, maybe give her brown eyes and blond hair. Next time I'll show you how to draw Adam Sandler.Post a comment
