How to Draw Horses for Kids

Step 1.

Make two circles for the horses heads, and then make the body lines as well as the facial guidelines.

Step 2.

The next thing you will do is draw out the front or top part of the horse's mane like so. As you can see the hair is in a swift to the side. Draw the ear and move to step three.

Step 3.

Sketch out the shape of the horses face and then draw the other ear. Sketch in the shapes for the eyes, and then draw the snout, nose holes, and dimple n the nose.

Step 4.

Draw the back of the mane, and then draw in the body as well as the tail. Sketch in the definition or strand lines on the tail, and then move to step five.

Step 5.

Continue to draw out the rest of the body which is the front legs, hooves, and stomach.

Step 6.

Now that the first horse is drawn, you can start with the second horse. Sketch in the mane and then the shape of the face.

Step 7.

Sketch in the eyes, snout, and then draw in the nostril holes as well as the mouth.

Step 8.

The next thing to do is draw out the body and then make the tail, and the rest of the mane.

Step 9.

You will finish this tutorial by drawing out the chest, front legs, and then the stomach and back legs. Draw the hooves and start erasing the lines and shapes that you drew in step one.

Step 10.

This is how your horses look when all is done and complete. Color them in to look like your favorite horse breed.

I have one more cute ‘for kids’ lesson coming your way and this time I will be teaching you "how to draw horses for kids", step by step. All I did to make this tutorial is use a chibi like concept and turn it into something amazingly cute. Drawing horses in a ‘for kids’ manner is probably one of the best lessons I have made that was simple and fun to complete. Anyways, I don’t think I can say any more about horses and how I love them so. Instead I will zip my lip and just show you how it’s done. When you have finished this lesson, be sure to let me know if you liked it, if it helped, or even if you hated it. Enjoy folks, and peace out!
