In this next tutorial you will be learning how to draw another fashion object that has been fashionable starting in the late eighties and became a big phenomenon all through the nineties. As a matter of fact the two people that are experts on this fashion trend that I know of are my parents. This style has been the current theme for many kids and even adults all the way to today. Now since my mom was a teen growing up in the nineties, she clued me in on how the “baggy pants or jeans” started to become popular. Back then music artists and television stars had a big influence on the fashion of 1990. According to my mom the baggy jeans style started with the skateboarders and hip hop artist style fused into what we now call grunge, ghetto, or Goth. A hip hop duo called Kris Kros was the first to put the "baggy" in style when they wore their jeans backwards. Yes I said backwards meaning the back pockets were in the front and the front pockets were in the back. When that trend took off the only thing that changed was wearing the jeans the wrong way. Young men and woman both embarked on this new fashion craze which was plainly seen when artist like Salt and Pepper started wearing clothes that weren't so curve appealing along with another all girl trio called TLC. When you mention that you wear“ghetto style” clothes, which usually mean that you dress with wearing pants that are so baggy that they are almost three sizes too big. These types of pants are held up with a belt and the individual usually wears either two pairs of boxers or a pair of boxers, a pair of basketball shorts and then their “baggy jeans”. If you said that you wear grunge type clothing this usually means that your pants are still baggy, but not to the point that they would fall off if no belt was present. And lastly the Goth style is again baggy pants that have a wide flare going down the leg and they are accompanied with a bunch of chains and zippers. This fashion trend is of the few trends that have never subsided over time. It also seems like some of the old fashion styles from the fifties through the seventies is coming back in a big way also. Fashion is something that changes over periods of time, some of the old trends may return, and some of them stay with us until were sixty. This tutorial will show you how to draw baggy pants step by step. This lesson shows you a simple way to create a pair of baggy jeans in little. The best part is you can color the pants any color you want when you are done. I will be back with more in a bit so stay tuned.
