How to Draw Poison, Poison, Hurt

1

Begin by making two shapes, one for the head and the other for the torso.

2

Sketch out the actual shape of the head and then sketch in all of the thin veins on the head's surface like so.

3

Begin sketching out the back and move forward to sketching out the shoulders, arms, and then some of the chest. Be sure to add some contouring when drawing the back and arms.

4

For step four you will be drawing out the left arm and hand. Notice that the hand is open and the palms are facing the viewer. Be sure to draw the fingers and thumb too.

5

Replicate what you did in step four by sketching out the right arm and then the hand. Add some detailing to the forearm as well as the palm.

6

Now that the figure is drawn out, you can begin sketching in the rose. Start in the middle of the rose, and then move to step seven.

7

Sketch in the left side of the rose with two more petals.

8

Sketch in more of the rose's petals like so and be sure to keep the lining sharp.

9

You will now finish the rose by drawing the rest of the rose petals. Once that is all done you have to do a good job cleaning up your sketch.

10

The line art comes out looking like the image you see here. Of course you also have to add some shading, and texture to give the drawing the effect you see here.

Description: Ya'll, Dawn here with another lesson to submit onto DragoArt today. In this fresh tutorial, we will be learning “how to draw Poison, step by step”, in this fun awesome tutorial. This was painted a few days ago, a week after my last painting. In this new addition to the watercolor art series, there's a story behind it. This one is of a man drawing out his last bit of sanity and confidence to be with a woman who takes him for granted, torturing him indirectly. I've had a lot of fun with this experiment, this time with a full figured person and detailed hands. I wanted the hands to seem they are losing grasp of the last bit of himself, creating a visual tension between the viewer. The bight red – tempting rose glowing, almost overpowering your presence. Yeah, I know I'm going a little overboard with that, but hey, it's how I intended the drawing. Let me know your interpretations at first sight was. Was it something very different to what I intended it to be? I hope ya'll will enjoy a simple drawing like this and try to shade it latter on to make it realistic as the main image. Again, thanks for viewing and I hope you've enjoyed yourself!
