I’m finally going to break down and submit the lesson that soooo many of you have been waiting for. Here it is, the character from Killzone turned into a tutorial. "How to draw Helghast", step by step is coming your way as of right now. I’m not even going to try and attempt to talk on what the game is about because I have never played it before, and I have never even seen anyone play it before. All I know how to do is show you how to sketch out this figure from the very popular game series. I will come back and talk more about this character, but for now I will show you "how to draw Helghast" and hopefully you guys enjoy learning from this lesson, and hopefully I made it where you can learn from it easily. STEP 1.
Make a large circle for the head and then draw in the guides for the face, mask, and neck.
STEP 2.
Here you will also start sketching out the shape of the gas mask like helmet that Helghast wears. Draw in the eyes or goggles and then sketch in some scratches on the head like you see here.
STEP 3.
Let's start detailing this Helghast head by drawing the inner regions of the eyes and the guard underlying it. Take your time with the details since everything relies on careful detail placement.
STEP 4.
Let's start sketching the details for the mouth and finishing the upper region of the mask. This should be a bit easier than the previous step.
STEP 5.
Lastly, finish up by sketching the tubing hooked to the outlet at the left side of his mask. Sketch the shoulders and move onward! Be sure to clean up the drawing so you have a nice clean sketch to color.
STEP 6.
Look how awesome your drawing comes out when you are all done. Now you can enjoy the challenge of coloring in this exciting character known as Helghast.1 Page Result
