So last night during my LiveStream, I painted up a painting which is a minimal half face; creating visual tension and curiosity of what the rest of the face looks like. I wanted this piece to be mysterious and intimidating to create a nice look. The total time to finish this drawing was an hour, with the rest of the stream, I completed a tutorial on a tea cup. Lots of folks enjoyed the creation of this drawing during the stream and I had so much fun rendering it, especially adding the grungy textures and green/blue colors which portray darkness and cruel intentions. The face is asexual, meaning it's neither male or female. If you wanted to finish the entire drawing off and make it seem more feminine or masculine, be my guest. There was tons of music that inspired this piece like Tool, Nine Inch Nails, and a bit of Manson. When it comes to macabre art like this, you should listen to darkly tunes and feel emotion as you work on it. Anyways, it was so much fun painting this drawing during the livestream. I thank you all for watching. Thanks so much for viewing and have fun with your new drawing! Don't forget to let me know how yours turned out.
