Step 1.
Okay start this first step by drawing out the guidelines and shapes to make a frame for Emily. Start by making a small circle shape for his head and then add the facial guidelines. You will then make a line for his neck and then draw out the shapes for his torso and then the long flowing shape of her bridal gown. Add the limb guidelines as well and then the final shapes for her feet or shoes.
Step 2.
In this next step you will start to draw the in the shapes of her face like the two eye sockets and then add the shape of her jaw which is narrow and petite. Give her a mouth and then start drawing the shapes of her bony arms and hands as shown. Next add the lines for her hair and then the detailing shape of her breast and dress both at the hip area and the flare at the bottom. You will also shape out the socks.
Step 3.
Now in order to make Emily look pretty you will sketch in her hair style by first drawing the shape of her side parted bangs and then sketch the long flowing locks of her hair. You will then add eye lids and a small nose. Then draw the long shape of her vail and then put a slit in the middle of her gown and then shape out the edges making them look grungy.
Step 4.
As you can see this "corpse bride" is looking more like herself. You will start detailing her hair in this step and then add the facial expression lines on her face by adding the eyebrows and pupils and you will also detail her lips. You will start detailing the top part of her dress by drawing out the border around the edges and then detail the bottom of the gown as shown. Once you are done with that you can start drawing in her bone like arm in detail and then her leg and hands.
Step 5.
Well you have made it to your last drawing step. Was that so hard to do? You will now finish off your "corpse bride" by adding the top of her vail as well as the decayed flowers. Next detail her eyes bu giving her some pretty looking eyelashes and then add more definition to her hair. You will then sketch in her exposed ribs to the left. Now you will draw the length of the vail and make sure the edges resemble hair or oldness. Detail the bottom of her gown and then draw the rest of her bony legs, socks and shoes. You can start erasing all the guidelines that you drew in step one.
Step 6.
And here we have it. You are done. All you have to do is color her in and make her look like she has sent the last few years underground. I hope you liked this tutorial on how to draw Emily from Corpse Bride step by step. I will be back with more in a bit so stay tuned.Comments: Post Comment
