Hey everyone here's another Halloween tutorial for you. This time I will be showing you how to draw Freddy Krueger from the "A Nightmare on Elm Street" movies. This guy has to be one of the coolest psychopathic, kill-you-through-your-dreams murderers ever. Get your supplies ready for this one!

STEP 1.
Start out by picking your pencils. I used an F pencil for sketching, an HB for shading and lines, and a 3B for dark shading and lines. You may need a softer pencil than 3B if you find your shading not coming out dark enough.
STEP 2.
Start out by drawing a basic sketch. Use the guideline if you need them.
STEP 3.
Make sure to erase any of the guidelines that you don't need. Your sketch should end up looking something like this.
STEP 4.
Sketch in some of the details of his face using an F or HB pencil.
STEP 5.
Define the lines of his fedora and coat a bit more.
STEP 6.
Start defining his claws.
STEP 7.
Define the rest of the lines.
STEP 8.
Roughly shade over the drawing using an HB pencil. Shade very lightly.
STEP 9.
Blend in your shading using a cloth or paper towel.
STEP 10.
Start shading around the eyes. I relied mainly on an HB pencil for shading. Combine an HB pencil with a 3B to get darker values for shadows.
STEP 11.
Now shade in his fedora using the same pencils. You may need something softer like a 6B or 7B to add texture and make the shading darker. Also notice how I work on my background as I move along. All I used for the background was an HB pencil.
STEP 12.
Now shade in the rest of his face. Pay attention to the details on his flesh/muscles.
STEP 13.
Shade in the his coat and neck.
STEP 14.
Work on the rest of the background before moving on to the rest of the drawing.
STEP 15.
Now start shading in his claws and the rest of his fedora. I'm still using only HB and 3B pencils here.
STEP 16.
Now shade in the rest of the drawing. Finish up by going over your shading again. Try to darken any spots that may have gotten smudged and redefine any outline that look a bit fuzzy. Thank you very much and yeah it was alot of work making all 241 of them then putting them all together in one picture but I have tons of fun making them
