How to Draw a Halloween Vampire, Halloween Vampire
What is today? I think it’s the fourteenth or something and if I’m right, and I think I am, Halloween is just about two weeks away from being a reality. I am so excited because this year I am planning on carving my own stencil drawn faces on a couple of huge pumpkins, and I also want to take my little sister out trick or treating. I’m not sure, but I think my sister wants to be a life like child sized vampire. Now because she came up with a random idea all on her own, she got me to thinking that I could make a tutorial on "how to draw a Halloween vampire", step by step, but make it in a female chibi version. The vampire’s make-up and clothing style comes from my imagination, and the colors come from my kid sister. I love the way it turned out and for those of you that joined me live yesterday, you should have been there when I was drawing this vampire live. I had so much fun, and I hope that you guys have fun too. Remember to comment, fav, and rate this and all the tutorials you come across to let others know what you think.

STEP 1.
Start with a circle for the head and then draw in the facial guides as well as the body line.
STEP 2.
Sketch out the actual shape of the vampires face like so, and then draw in some of her hairstyle which is going to end up being in an updo fashion. Draw in the ears, and you're ready to move forward.
STEP 3.
For step three, you can draw out her large but expressive eyes paying close attention to the thick or bold coloring of the top lid. Draw in the eyebrows, and then draw the mouth and fangs.
STEP 4.
All you will be doing here is drawing out the bun to complete the hairstyle and then draw the small tuft of hair from the bun being toed up. Draw some detailing on her bun, and move to step five.
STEP 5.
Okay, the head and face is all set. Now we can begin working on getting the neck, shoulders and arms drawn out, as well as her torso. Notice how the hand is in a hypnotic gesture, and the sleeve is long and loose. This is typical attire for female vampires.
STEP 6.
Her outfit is a tight corset style, and the sleeve is disattached but belongs to the top. Draw in the lace up the torso like so, and then add the ruffled lace as trim. Sketch in some detailing on the sleeve and then add detailing to the palm of her hand.
STEP 7.
For the last drawing step, all you have to do is draw in the long flared skirt, and then draw in some creases and folds to add texture definition. Draw in her feet as well as the tied laces from her corset. Erase your mistakes as well as clean up the guides you drew in step one.
STEP 8.
Look how awesome your Halloween vampire looks when you are all done. Of course you could turn this female vampire into a male, but that means you would have to draw in a suit instead of a dress. Color her in and you're done.Comments: Post Comment
