How to Draw a Halloween Witch, Halloween Witch
Well guys, I don’t know how many people watched me yesterday as I tackled a task in the form of a Halloween figure. Today I will upload my works and show you "how to draw a Halloween witch", step by step. Even though a Halloween witch was requested, I still think it was an awesome idea. I had so much fun with this sketch, so much so, I literally got carried away. There were a thousand things going on in my mind when I was drawing this witch. Since I do a lot of anime and regular people drawings, I thought making a chibi style girl would be a nice change of pace. Not only is it better to make a Halloween girl in chibi form, it’s also going to be easier than ever before as you tackle such an awesome concept. The end results are clearly epic, and another nice thing about this submission is how you can alter the sketch along the way as you follow the steps to drawing a Halloween witch. STEP 1.
Start the first step very easily by making a medium sized circle for the head, and then draw some guides, one for the face and the other for the body.
STEP 2.
Sketch out the shape of the face and then draw in the hair bangs which are in square like chunk style pieces. Draw some longer bangs that fall on the sides of her face, and then move to step three.
STEP 3.
Draw out the eyes and start with dark, thick top lids, and draw out the shapes of the eyes. Draw in the mouth and move along.
STEP 4.
Next, draw out her witch style hat. This should be easy to tackle because it is your typical style concept. The cone tip is bent downward, and then sketch in the wrinkles on the hat as well. Draw in the ear and more hair.
STEP 5.
Draw the neck, and then start sketching out the body. You will do this by starting with the shoulders and arms, and then draw in her small chibi hand. Sketch out her cape, and then draw the torso. She is wearing a dress so be sure to draw in the small trim of ruffle at the bottom of her dress.
STEP 6.
Continue to draw out her cape some more until it's almost complete, and then draw out the leg, and her knee high boot. Since I made her flying on a broom stick, you should also draw in the back part of the broom.
STEP 7.
Draw the right leg and boot like so, and then draw the crisscross style boot laces. Draw in more of her broomstick and then draw her small hand as well as more of the cape.
STEP 8.
Finally it's time to finish your Halloween witch. Do this by drawing in the length of her hair, and then draw in the rest of her broomstick which looks more like a cane. Erase the guidelines and mistakes and then draw in the twisted style top on the staff.
STEP 9.
The line art should come out looking neat and clean. You can start the coloring process now and that's it.Post a comment
