How to Draw a Tattoo Sun, Tattoo Sun

1

Just start off by making one small to medium sized circle for the base guide of the tattoo sun. Draw in the facial guides and move along.

2

Using the facial guidelines you will automatically start sketching out the large arched brows and then slowly sketch in the eyes which are lined with some swift clean arches and wrinkles.

3

Begin drawing out the nose which is drawn in a wide but pointed style. When that is done make the mouth or lips. Notice how the top lip is small, but the bottom lip is kind of full. Add swirls at the ends of the nostrils, mouth, and bottom lip.

4

Now that the face is all drawn in, you can start drawing out the flaring, burning swirls for the sun's rays. Make these curls and swirls different in sections.

5

Continue to draw out the curled and swirled rays and be sure when you do this, you have the the beams curling in a clean, uniform manner for an awesome flow.

6

Finish off the tattoo sun, and erase any mistakes that you made so you can ready the drawing for color.

7

Color in the rays and you are ready to see what the finished drawing looks like.

8

This is the line work when you are all done. You can choose to color in your tattoo sun any shade you like or bring in the finished line art to your favorite tattoo artist.

Description: I have some more really cool tutorials coming your way and to start, let me show you how to draw a tattoo sun, step by step. I already have a few sun design tattoo drawings on the site, but looking at them now made me realize that I needed a newer, updated version. Here is what I conjured up, and for tattoos, this is pretty nice. Element tattoo art is something that was popular back five years ago, slowly but surely there is more and more people going for elemental tattoo art as an inking choice for a tattoo session. One of my friend’s brothers has a sun style tattoo just below his navel hole and for his body type, it really doesn’t look good. I’m sorry, if you’re gonna get a tattoo, be sure it suits you, your personality, and it also needs to mean something. There is many things that stars and suns represent when choosing designs in a tattoo parlor, the only thing you need to remember is how, what, and where to place it on your body. This is also a great tattoo design that can be altered by you, the artist. Have fun with it and if you do decide to tweak the concept, let’s see what you did by uploading your finished works. Have fun drawing a tattoo sun and be sure to fav, comment, and rate. Peace people!
