I guess I could break down and make another lesson on one of these amazing creatures since Halloween is right around the corner. So here it is, this time you will learn "how to draw a zombie cat", step by step. This design concept is really creative because instead of a normal sitting pose, I actually wanted to create an image of a cat that has one nasty personality. As you know cats love hissing, and clawing things they don’t like. This zombie cat has the claws fully exposed waiting to slice something up. I also replaced the spilling guts with a sliced up torso that has the rib cage fully out in the open. There is also some gashes on the cheeks, forehead, and on the thigh. Of course I couldn’t forget to include a name tag for this once feline friend, so Mr. Fluffy has a name tag and name too. This should be an entertaining tutorial, and I want to thank everyone that gave suggestions and pointed out some cool facts. Enjoy this tutorial on yet another zombie animal in the form of a cat. STEP 1.
Draw a circle for the cat's head and then draw in the facial guides.
STEP 2.
Okay, you might want to start taking your time as of now. Begin sketching out the shape of the cat's head which should include the fluffy hair for the cheeks, and then draw out the one ear. The mouth is doing this scream like meow so that is why the lining should also include the position of the mouth. Sketch out the chin and some of the neck.
STEP 3.
Here is where the real fun starts. The first thing you want to do is sketch out the cat's eyes. Do this with a straight sloped line for the lids of the eyes, and from there draw out the bowl shapes for the eyes. Around the eyes fill it with a dark thick border for added intensity. Draw in the kitty's nose shape and with the same lining form the open mouth and draw in the loose looking tongue.
STEP 4.
Sketch out the other ear and then begin drawing gashes and open holes on the face like the cheek, and forehead. Next sketch in the nose tip, teeth, and fangs. You will also need to end this step by adding the detailing to the ears and some parts of the face.
STEP 5.
Sketch in the rest of the cat's neck and begin drawing the collar. Draw the right shoulder, and then the left arm and claw exposed paw. Add detailing where needed, and move to step six.
STEP 6.
On the right side finish the leg and draw in the paw. Next, draw the name tag, and slowly sketch out the entire torso with the ribs out in the open, as well as the insides. Add some stitch marks on the lining for the body's skin, and move to step seven.
STEP 7.
For the last step, draw out the back leg, paw, and then the tail. Draw in some cuts and gashes, and erase the mistakes and guides that you drew in the previous steps.
STEP 8.
Look how awesome this zombie cat looks when it is all cleaned up and inked out. You are now ready to start coloring in this drawing and then you can add it to the zombie animal collection you have created.Post a comment
