How to Draw a Fire Dragon, Fire Dragon, Red Dragon

1

Begin by drawing out two shapes, one for the head and another for the body. Connect the two shapes with a neck line.

2

Now you will start drawing out the structure of the dragon's head and this should include the snout and all the pointed frills that makes up the structure of the head. Be sure to draw in the mouth wide open.

3

Next, it's time for the extra detailing on the face. Work on the mouth and then work your way to the eyes. Make sure you have these features drawn boxy and sharp.

4

Ok, this dragon has a rather short next, mainly because I wanted to emphasize it's bulkiness. I like keeping my dragons beastly and thickened.

5

This is probably going to be hellah difficult, like I warned at the beginning of the tutorial. I suggest you work on one arm then the other, to make things easier for you. The claws are excessively big so this beast looks massive. Try keeping keen de

6

This might be an easy step considering there isn't much detailing to the wings. Draw the arm of the wing first then work your way to the overlaying piece. Afterwards, you can sketch out the beginning of the leg.

7

Next, let's work on finishing the wings, which should be easier. Keep things simple and lines sharp and boxy.

8

Lastly, finish off by drawing the foot first, then the tail. The feet should have the same amount of toes as the front legs. Like I said, keep things sharp and bulky to exaggerate the height and strength.

9

With patience and care in the lines, proportions, you should have something similar to this. I had SO much fun with this dragon and might do more in this similar style. I hope ya'll enjoyed this tutorial, and like I said before, if you want more elem

Description: Hey guys, here's another lesson I've finished during my livestream last night. I had so much fun with the render of this new dragon species I've created, “Magma Volcanix” (thanks to ZoraLink for the name idea). This should be fun but may be a bit challenging for those who can't suffice intense details. While you complete each step, take your time to make sure that it looks perfected. If you'd like, you can customize this dragon to something else. Here, as you can tell by the bulky limbs, that this dragon is meant to be a very large beast. I think I should have added other indicators to make this beast look the way it's supposed to (adding small people or birds). Anyways, I really hope you'll enjoy this dragon lesson, I think I'm getting into the mood for more elemental dragons (since Halloween is almost here). If you think I should create more elemental dragons, or magmafied creatures, leave a comment on this tutorial! Thanks so much for viewing and have fun.
