Description: I thought that a collection on how to draw Looney Tunes characters wouldn’t be complete without one of my favorite characters that happens to be a pint sized mouse with the courage of a bull. Now before I stop submitting tutorials on different characters from the goof ball gang, I will be showing you how to draw Speedy Gonzales. I know right, wicked cool. Speedy is a mouse from Mexico and he is the fastest mouse that ever stepped foot on dirt. He made his cartoon debut back in 1953 with an episode called Cat Tails for Two. Now this brave little mouse speaks with a Mexican accent and he is seen wearing an oversized yellow sombrero, a white shirt with matching pants, and a red ascot. Before Speedy goes off on his trail blazing run, he usually shouts out "Ándale! Ándale! Arriba! Arriba!" Speedy is often seen with his amigos in a mouse hole somewhere. He is the one that usually comes to their rescue to help them get some food. The only problem is there is a mean old black cat in the way named Sylvester. Yes, Sylvester is sometimes seen being the mean old cat that teases the mice. If it wasn’t for the smart thinking and speed from Speedy, they would surely starve or get eaten. The episode I seen was when Sylvester was guarding crates of cheese at the Mexican border. It was hilarious, the things that animated cartoon writers come up with is awesome. I love watching old cartoons because sometimes they are the best. I know you will have fun with this tutorial because he is very easy to draw. So with out further ado let me teach you how to draw Speedy Gonzales step by step. All you have to do is follow the instructions and steps the way you see them. I will be back with more, so don’t go away gang. There is more drawing fun on the way.
