How to Draw Adele, Adele
Before I get into the fun stuff I wanted to submit this lesson on a singer that has been making a huge name for herself recently and the funny thing is, I remember hearing one of her songs two years ago on MTV. My mother gave me the idea to make a tutorial on “how to draw Adele", step by step. Adele is a singer, as well as a song writer from England, and even though there are still plenty of people that have never heard of her before, there are millions that love her and her music. Recently, she has this new song that the radio plays once in a while, and it’s called Someone Like You. From what I understand Adele’s second album “21” is based solely on her experience and heartache of an ex-boyfriend. How do I know this you ask? Well, I actually watched her in an interview and one of the questions asked was if the album was based on an ex. Adele has such a bubbly and outgoing personality and even though she is considered to be plus size, I think she is a very pretty, young talented girl that has a long lucrative life ahead. She was born in a place called Tottenham London England on May 5, 1988. Her mother was just a teenager when she was born and together they lived alone. At a very young age Adele began singing around the house and at dinner parties. She states that one of the biggest influences in her life to become a singer was the Spice Girls. She also says that Pink played a very big part in her singing career because when she saw Pink live, it was like an amazing experience that she will never forget. Anyways, Adele is still going strong, and with each passing day she becomes more and more recognized. I still can’t believe that her look changed so much from the video I seen her in about two years ago with “Chasing Pavement”. I will be back later with more drawing fun so have a blast with this lesson on "how to draw Adele", and be sure to let me know what you all think. Adios people!

STEP 1.
Make a circle for Adele's head and then draw in the facial guidelines.
STEP 2.
Using the guide you just made in step one, begin sketching out the shape of the face as well as some of her right ear or earlobe. Draw in her hairline that is nicely pushed to the left side, and then sketch in some hair using a very light stroke.
STEP 3.
Sketch out the shapes of her eyes like so, and with the lining add the soft looking thick lashes. The lining at the top corner of the eye lids should be darker because she is wearing liner and mascara.
STEP 4.
Once of the things I like about Adele's face is her nicely shaped eyebrows. Begin sketching out her eyebrows like so, and then lightly sketch in the eyelids, bottom lashes, and then draw in the tear ducks eyeballs, and color in the pupils.
STEP 5.
The only thing you have top do here is sketch out her nose. The actual length of her nose should only be lightly sketched in because that is not going to be drawn in fully. Instead focus on getting the actual nose tip sketched in properly and be sure to incorporate the nostrils.
STEP 6.
Lightly sketch in the clef above her top lip, and then sketch out her entire mouth which consists of lips. Adele has a full set of lips and because I sued a picture of her as a reference, in this particular pose she has her mouth slightly open. Sketch in the clef in her chin, and move on.
STEP 7.
Begin sketching out her very antique looking hairstyle which is high, and neatly styled. Don't forget to add the curls every once in a while.
STEP 8.
To finish off Adele, all you have to do is sketch in the rest of her hair, and then draw in the her earrings, as well as the neck, shoulders, and the wrinkling for her clothing or blouse. Sketch in some detailing for her hair, and then start cleaning up the sketch by erasing some of the mistakes, and guides.
STEP 9.
When your drawing is all cleaned up you should have a sketch that looks like the one you see before you now. You can choose to leave Adele as a sketch, or you can add some light coloring to give her some kind of life.Comments: Post Comment
