Let’s get busy and learn "how to draw a pug puppy", step by step. The pug is a very adorable dog that gained fame and popularity after this breed appeared in the sci-fi movie “Men in Black”. The talking pug had attitude, spunk and even pizazz as it gave Agent K some serious cockiness as he was questioned about Orion’s Belt. The pug I made for you guys today is going to be super simple to replicate because I made sure to create a really easy way to "draw a pug puppy". I really do have so much fun creating these animals in their puppy form. If you have an idea for a dog that would look great as a puppy, just holla at me and let me know. STEP 1.
To draw a pup puppy you will need to first make two shapes. One of the shapes is going to be larger than the body. Add a face guide like so, and proceed to step two.
STEP 2.
Using the shape you just made in step one, begin sketching out the actual structure of the pug's head and face. Draw the semi short floppy ears, and then draw in the pushed in face or snout area.
STEP 3.
As you can see this is probably going to be the most difficult step of this lesson. All you have to do is draw out the large circular eyes, and then draw out the bridge of the snout which is pushed in. Draw the actual nose nostrils and all, and then sketch in the skin wrinkles layered on the snout. Draw the tongue and some of the bottom jaw, and then finally sketch in some facial detailing like the crease between the eyes.
STEP 4.
The next thing you will do is draw out the neck, and be sure to add some folds, and then draw out the front paws and legs like so. Take your time and make sure that the pug's body has those wrinkles on the shoulders and under the neck.
STEP 5.
Lastly draw out the back of the body which includes the hind legs, back paw, and then draw in the curly tail, and stomach. Don't forget to add more wrinkles on the back leg. Erase the lines and shapes that you drew in step one to clean up the drawing.
STEP 6.
Here is what your dog looks like when you are all done. All you have to do now is color in your pup and be on your way to another lesson of your choice.Post a comment
