How to Draw a Druid, Druid, World of Warcraft
Hey guys, welcome back yet again, and hopefully you will find this submission far more exciting than some chibi character or monkey. What do you say we tackle a tutorial on "how to draw a Druid", step by step. I know there are so many World of Warcraft fans out there and some of you fans may know that there is a movie based on WOW coming out real soon. There is three people who actively play WOW in my family and there is two non-active but fans of WOW in my family. The Druid is what my character was based on and as you can imagine it’s because I love having the ability to shapeshift into a wolf like creature. Aside from being one of the best classes, I would also like to point out that Druids are probably one of the most flexible classes in WOW. I want to get into this topic so bad right now, but I feel like if I don’t stop now I won’t get the rest of my work done; how about I come back to this topic later, and for now I can just show you "how to draw a Druid". I think you will find that my drawing looks pretty much like the real thing. Have fun your new journey guys, and for all you Druids out there, rock on!

STEP 1.
You are going to make a two cluster shape. This is very easy because all you do is draw one big circle and make another smaller shape for the head partially inside of the first circle. Add one face guide like so.
STEP 2.
Begin sketching out the jagged shape of the Druid's face. The lining is very sharp and pointed. Continue with the rough lining until the entire face and ears are drawn in.
STEP 3.
Using the one face guide, draw in the eyes, and snout. When you draw in the snout, be sure to sketch in those wrinkles along the sides of the nose. Draw in the two long canine fangs, and then draw some of the mouth.
STEP 4.
Draw in the bottom jaw as well as the teeth. Draw the nose tip, and then draw out and color in the markings under each eye. Sketch in the whiskers, brows, and inner ear detailing before leaving this step.
STEP 5.
Next up, take your time as you begin the task of sketching out the mane that starts in the center of the top part of the head, and continue the mane down the back of the neck and middle of back. Add some detailing and then more strands.
STEP 6.
Believe it or not, but you guys are almost done. All you have to do here is sketch out one of the front legs and the top part of the paw. Sketch in some tuft on the elbows, and then draw in the brace on the wrist as well as some of the neck.
STEP 7.
Finish sketching out the front leg by drawing in the clawed toes for the paw. The toes are drawn slightly bending to the left. Draw the other leg which is barley seen, as well as the loose wrist and paw. Add the brace and sketch in some detailing for added texture.
STEP 8.
Finally, sketch out the very strong and muscular shoulder which also looks like part of the neck, and then draw out the back, hind leg, and tail. Don't forget to draw the back paws and claws. Erase any mistakes you made a long the way, and prepare the drawing for color.
STEP 9.
Here is the Druid when all your hard work is done. I think you did a great job, and even though some parts where complex, you did awesome. Thanks for joining me with drawing a Druid.Comments: Post Comment

Great to see some traditional paintings on here. This is really nice, the background shows you have a decent understanding of blending and color transitions. Your tiger looks nice too.
Keep it up, I'd love to see more of your paintings.
