How to Draw Pluto the Dog
Step 1.
Do you remember how I start all my first steps? If you said "with guidelines and shapes" I know you pay attention and you are absolutely right. You will start this step by drawing the circle shape of Pluto's head and then draw the squared shape for his muzzle. You will then draw another circle shape for his chest and then a small behind circle. What comes next? That's right, the guidelines for his legs and back. You will now move to the next step.
Step 2.
How do you think you will start this next step? Exactly, you will start drawing in the eyes and brows and then start drawing out the lining for Pluto's muzzle and jaw. You will then start making the shaping lines for his neck and legs front and back. What did I forget to mention in this step? Right again, you will also need to draw in the olive shape of his nose before you leave this step.
Step 3.
Well you are already on step three, guess what that means? You are only three more steps away from completing this tutorial. Now as you may know, you will tackle this tutorial by shaping and detailing Pluto's muzzle and bottom lip. Make sure you make his mouth look like he has loose skin on the top of his nose and give him a few whiskers on his chin. You will now draw out the shape of his..what? Yes ear and collar. Finish this step by drawing out the rest of the shapes of his legs and put toes on his front paw.
Step 4.
Finally you have made it to step four. Did you know that when you start erasing the guidelines you no longer need your drawing starts to look a hole lot better? First you will take your drawing tool and sketch out the shape on the top of his head and don't forget his signature hump. Detail his collar and then draw more toe lines on his paws. You will then start drawing out the lining for his inner hind leg and then his tail.
Step 5.
this is your last drawing step and what you will do is finish his ear, foot, toes and tail. Is there anything else you are forgetting to do in this step before you move onto the last step? Yes, erase the guidelines you drew in step one. After you have cleaned up your drawing you are done with this step.
Step 6.
When you are done this is what your Disney pup should come out looking like. All you have ot do now is color him in and that is it.
