How to Draw the Aerosmith Logo

Are you ready for a wicked cool drawing tutorial? Or maybe I should say are you ready to ROCK! This next awesome rock and roll tutorial will teach you how to draw the Aerosmith logo. I am sure that there is a load of you that are familiar with this hard rock band that began to make its way back in 1970 in Sunapee New Hampshire. I know, who would have thought that this rough edged band is from a city out of New Hampshire of all places. It is not too often that you hear of a legendary band coming from a tourist state. Anyway it was band members Steven Tyler and Joe Perry that decided to form a band that would add a twist to the style of rock and roll forever. It all started back in 1964 when sixteen year old Steven Tyler formed a band called The Strangers where he was the drummer instead of the singer. This was his first band that he considered to be “serious”. Later, he decides to change the name of his band to Chain Reaction and it was then that Steven Tyler started writing his own music along with keyboardist Don Solomon. At this stage in Tyler’s life he already knew that he was going to make it big one day and wasn’t gonna stop until he did. The band Chain Reaction also played as a cover band to groups like The Beatles, and The Rolling Stones. Chain Reaction formed a name for themselves and they even recorded several songs. In the year 1970 Steven Tyler was taken back by the style of Jam Band members Joe Perry and Tom Hamilton. He absolutely loved the sound that came from Joe Perry. Eventually they came together and formed, Aerosmith. This new band was making a name for themselves and eventually moved their gig to Boston Massachusetts and gathering a mob along the way. In 1972 Aerosmith was signed to Columbia Records after President Clive Davis came to see the band in action at Max’s Kansas City Club in New York. After watching and listening to the unique sound, they released their first album in 1973 called Aerosmith with Columbia Records. The hit song from the album that took the band from good to great was “Dream On”. The song gained wide spread popularity with mainstream media. The band really blew up when they released their next album "Toys in the Attic" in 1975 with their single “Sweet Emotion” which happened to be their very first top 40 hit. At this point they were competing against bands like Led Zeppelin and The Rolling Stones. Since the band became such a hit after the release of “Sweet Emotion” they re-released "Dream On" which then became #6 in the music charts. They also decided to re-release “Walk This Way” also from the Aerosmith album. In the mid eighties “Walk This Way” was sung with rap band Run DMC which put a different twist on the band’s music style. Aerosmith since then has become a band that has released timeless hits that remain in the music song history books. I myself am a fan of Aerosmith and I love their style and the way they perform on stage. They made appearances in several movies including Wayne’s World and Saturday Night Live. Steven Tyler and Joe Perry appeared as guests with Guns N' Roses during their 1992 worldwide live pay-per-view performance in Paris singing “Mama Kin”. That must have been a sight to see, Slash and Joe Perry live on stage at the same time wow all I can say is “SWEET”. To me Aerosmith is awesome and every time I hear one of their songs on the radio I sing along the tune. This tutorial will show you how to draw the Aerosmith logo step by step online.
