How to Draw an Anime Face, Anime Face
Well, I have a special treat for you guys that have been waiting for more anime related tutorials. Up next I will be showing you "how to draw an anime face", step by step. I was looking through my anime section and saw that I didn’t have a lesson on just an anime face. Now because I have been experimenting with a new anime drawing style, I really wanted to make a traditional looking anime face that is very bright, pretty, and almost realistic. When I told my brother to check out the drawing he said it looked like an actual cartoon from an anime series. The pink hair is a nice touch because it really gives this face a friendly appearance. I had so much fun making a version of an anime face even if the drawing took me a few hours. There are no words that can describe how much I enjoy drawing anime figures no matter if they are boys, girls, kids, or even animals. I also tried to make sure that the lesson would be easy enough for anybody to take on; therefore I think you will find that you will be making your very own anime face in a matter of minutes. If you are a novice artist this tutorial may be a little tricky, but overall you should be able to replicate her easy. Well, that’s it; have fun teaching yourself to "draw an anime face". STEP 1.
You will be drawing this anime face from a 3/4 view so lets get started. Draw a large circle for the head, and then add the face guides as well as the neck and some of the chest.
STEP 2.
Now you will sketch out the shape of her face and be sure to draw the sides of the face, and then draw in the straight lines that sketches out the jaw line and be sure to give her a pointed chin.
STEP 3.
Now it's time to make the thick eyelids which are very bold, and a bit sketchy at the ends like so. Draw the long, thin eyebrows and then add some eye detailing on the top lid.
STEP 4.
Okay guys, now it's time to draw in the shapes of her actual eyes like so, and then draw in some deep lashes on the bottoms of her eyes. Draw a nose and a friendly smile or mouth.
STEP 5.
Take your time drawing out her long straight hair starting with her bangs. Notice how the bangs n the anime face are full, and pointed straight across. Once the front part of the hair is done, you can draw out the length of her hair and then draw in the strand separation tips like so.
STEP 6.
Draw out the shape of her neck, and then draw in her chest, shoulders and sketch out the folds or layers on her short which is a crinkle type of style.
STEP 7.
I chose to go with a cute strawberry clip design. First draw the large strawberry, and then add two more like so. Add the leaves or cap to the first strawberry, and then draw a tassel that dangles.
STEP 8.
For the last drawing step I want you guys to begin erasing the guides and lines that you drew in step one. When that is done you can sketch out the detailing to her hair for texture, and then draw in some definition to her clothes. You should end up with a pretty anime face like you see here.
STEP 9.
Now look how awesome your drawing looks. Now you can have fun coloring her in to complete this lesson on drawing an anime face.Comments: Post Comment
