Over and over again I am always hit with requests that are for characters or figures that I have never even heard of before. That is the case with this next lesson. A member asked if I could make a lesson on "how to draw Sparky", step by step. If you are one of those people, like me, that don’t know who the heck sparky is, I will try and fill you in. He is a dog that is brought to life by his owner, and his owner is named Victor Frankenstein. You see, Victor is one of those kids that loves fiddling with making monster based movies. When his pet dog Sparky is hit by a car, he tries to bring him back to life but the end results is very ghoulish. Victor winds up bringing his dog back to life and what happens after that is unknown to me because I am not familiar with the story. Tim Burton is going to be directing the film and he is working with Walt Disney Pictures to get the project done. The movie is said to hit theaters in October of 2012, and like a lot of his projects it is also said to be dark, and eerie. The same people that worked on The Corpse Bride is also going to be working on Frankenweenie, which is the name of the movie. Frankenweenie is actually Tim Burton’s second adaptation of Frankenweenie with the first being from 1984. Like the original film, the new 2012 version will also be in black and white. I hope you like this drawing on "how to draw Sparky from Fankenweenie". I will be back in a bit with more drawing fun so stay tuned in to see what it’s going to be on.
