The first step to any tutorial is always simple. All you have to do is draw out a circle for the head guide of this beast, and then draw out another smaller circle inside of the head shape. This shape will be for the snout. Add one face guide as well.
Because this werewolf has such an intense eye expression, you should slowly tackle this step so your werewolf eyes come out looking the same way. Start by drawing out the angry brow lines which are swish like lines. Next, use a bold stroke to draw out the thick shaped eyes like so, and add some hair line strokes at the ends. Color in some pupils and then move along.
Lets start drawing out the snout for this snarling beast. The first thing you want to do is get the prominent shape drawn out first which is the tip of the nose. The easiest way to draw out the shape is to start making a heart, but then flatten out the lining before you come to the points. Next, draw layered snout wrinkles on the bridge of the nose like so, and then draw out the gun line with notches for each tooth that will be placed.
Now you can draw out the actual nose like so, and then sketch in those small wrinkles on the front of the snout which is basically the skin pulling back from snarling or growling.
With big, bold strokes draw out the mouth tissue that is exposed when a dog like creature has an open mouth from growling The sides of the mouth should be very thick and colored in, and then once that is done you can begin drawing out each sharp tooth as well as the long razor sharp canines or fangs. Add some tooth detailing like so before leaving this step.
Slowly begin sketching out the werewolf's head and face by using a very fast looking stroke. The ends of the lining should be drawn in a messy manner to make the werewolf's hair appear to be long, pointed and sort of wild. Draw out the horn shaped ears, and be sure to add a few tears.
It's time to finish off your werewolf tattoo by sketching out the thick wild hair filled neck. Next, sketch in the detailing and definition on the face like so, and then draw in the tongue and detailing inside of the ears. I chose to add some pierced holes but you can choose to leave that out. Clean up your drawing by erasing the lines and shapes you made in step one.
This is how awesome the drawing looks when you're finished. You can have a blast choosing your own pallet as you color in the werewolf of you can go with the color scheme I provided. Either way I know you did a great job.
