I have such an awesome tutorial day for all you Dragoart members and visitors. I have several cool lessons to upload but I don’t know where to start first. I guess I can start with "how to draw a caricature", step by step. The reason why I love this lesson is because I made a caricature face of my sixteen year old brother. Everyone in my house loved the drawing and they said it looked just like him. We had so much fun and he was a really good sport letting me twist his face into a goofy looking kid. Normally my brother is goofy anyway but that’s just because he’s the comic of the family. In the lesson I give you some pointers as to how to draw a caricature face, and if you try and understand the concepts of making a normal looking face into a cartoony exaggerated creation, you can turn anyone you know into another person completely. Even if they always look series you can add expression other than how they normally look just by twisting their features into bigger or smaller parts of the face. For my brother’s face I focused on his thick eyebrows, nose, and mouth or teeth. The end result is a perfect example on how he acts every day. There is also a quick sketch of other caricature faces and if you look real close, you will see J.B. Anyways, I hope you guys enjoy this tutorial as much as I did making it. Once you get the hang of making caricatures, you will have a blast drawing all of your family members and friends. Thanks guys and stay tuned in because there is a whole lot more on the way!
