This sixth lesson installment is going to show you how to draw a camel for kids, step by step. The camel is not only an interesting animal; it’s also a very strange one. The humps on their backs and the way they spit is almost strange making them one animal that a captivating appearance. When you draw a camel their faces are so detailed and defined that replicating how they look can be a challenging experience. Luckily I found a way that you guys can draw a camel with hardly any complications at all. The best part about following this lesson is you will end up with a nearly perfect depiction of a camel that is not only traditional looking, but very cute as well.  |  How to Draw a Camel for Kids |  |
STEP 1.
The first shape you will make is for the head and it should be round. Next, make a neck line and attach it to another circle in the form of an egg.
STEP 2.
begin drawing out the side profile of the camel's face starting with the forehead, and then move along to draw out the snout, mouth, and chin. Be sure to add that smile before you leave this step.
STEP 3.
Draw out the ears, and then draw in the long shaped wide eye, and be sure to darken the the top lash lid line. Add the ends with some lashes and then draw in a spiral swirl for the nose. A dash for the eyebrow should also be drawn in.
STEP 4.
Draw out the back of the neck and then draw the front of the neck and chest. You will end this step by drawing out the two humps and at the top of each hump draw in some loose hair.
STEP 5.
The only thing you have to do here is draw out the two front squared legs, and then draw the belly and part of the hind leg which is the thigh.
STEP 6.
Finish drawing out the back hind legs and then draw in the camel's tail. Notice how the camel looks like it's in a squatting pose.
STEP 7.
For the last step all you need to do is draw in the hoof lines on each foot. When that is done you can begin erasing the lines and shapes you drew in step one.
