This is going to be a quick lesson on "how to draw Cody Simpson", step by step. He is the new face and voice that has been hitting the radio waves nowadays. Oddly enough he is not from the states, instead young Cody is from Australia. He was born January 11, 1997 and as of today he is only fourteen years old. Cody got his big break when he appeared on The 7.30 Report back in December of 2009. Soon after, he released his musical single called “iYiYiY”. The song also featured Flo Rida, and before you know it, he was on his way to stardom and fame. Like Justin Bieber, Cody initially started out by performing on Youtube singing songs like Cry me a River, and I’m Yours. I’m actually submitting this lesson today because my fourteen year old sister said that I should make a tutorial on "how to draw Cody Simpson". She said, "he is getting so popular and I know other kids would want to learn how to draw him". So folks, here it is. I hope you have a blast with this lesson; it was fun to do because he was so easy to draw. Now I’m busting out of here because it’s time for me to call it a day. Adios people, I had a lot of fun with you all, and I cant wait to do it again.

STEP 1.
Begin with a circle for the head, and then make a long line for the shoulders. Add some guidelines for his face, and move to step 2.
STEP 2.
Sketch out the structure of Cody's face, and then draw in the bangs which are sort of long and flowing to the left. When that is done add some detailing to the tips, and move down to step three.
STEP 3.
Using the guides you drew in step one you can start sketching out the shapes of Cody's eyes. When that is done draw out the nose and that is it.
STEP 4.
Lightly sketch out the eyebrows, and then sketch in the bridge of the nose. Draw in his eyes, and color in his pupils. Add some detailing and definition under the eyes, and then keep on moving.
STEP 5.
Simply sketch out his lips and or mouth like so, and that's about it for step five. Oh yeah, add that dent above the top lip too.
STEP 6.
Finish sketching out Cody's long hair and be sure to draw out the pointed tips all around. Add some detailing and texture definition and you're done for now.
STEP 7.
To finish off this tutorial all you have to do is draw out the shape of his neck and then draw in the tee shirt that he is wearing. You will also need to draw out the trim around the collar and then start erasing the lines and shapes you drew in step one.
STEP 8.
Here is the Cody Simpson in portrait form when you are all done. See how easy it was to draw one of your favorite musical artist. Now you can try out another lesson, or call it a day. Great work guys, keep it up!Post a comment

His name was Cody in the first place,(that is based on my brother)and I was scrolling down and foung the pic,I didn't even read the name,(he just looked ALOT like my brother and he is a 
)and when I clicke on the pic...It was him!!! 
.His songs really make me 
...But when I told my friend I drew him,she asked me "I thought you HATED Cody...Why did u draw him?" She was really 
at first...Then she got the idea."He is just like your brother!!!
