How to Draw Chibi Squirtle, Squirtle
So I got some positive feedback with the two chibi Pokémon characters that I submitted yesterday, and because of this I decided to make another chibi sized species that has been with Ash and all of his friends since the beginning of the whole series. Today, I will be showing you "how to draw chibi Squirtle", step by step. What makes these characters so awesome is how easy they are to make in this small state. Granted some may already look like small, or shrunken like characters. Squirtle is one of the cutest Pokémon ever created. I think it’s because he is so lovable looking and extremely docile. The name also suits him well, and if you think about it Squirtle leaks, or uses water to his advantage when facing opponents. I have so much fun making this figure from Pokemon into a small sized bean. If you are a huge fan of the Pokemon series, you will fall in love with learning "how to draw chibi Squirtle" without a doubt. I guess that is all I have to say for this description. STEP 1.
Begin by making two large shapes that are round and clean. These will be used for the head and body. Next, add the one face guide.
STEP 2.
What you will do now is thicken the lining of the shape you just drew in step one, and then make a bump for chibi Squirtles cheek.
STEP 3.
Next, make the large window like shapes for the eyes, and then make the wiggly line for his/her mouth. Be sure to have that extended line overlap the top of each eye.
STEP 4.
Now it's time to draw out chibi Squirtles body and limbs. All you have to do is simply thicken the shape of the body, and then draw in the stubby looking arm, leg, hand, and foot. He is supposed to be some form of turtle I think. In the next step you will actually draw the shell detailing.
STEP 5.
Here you will draw in the squirrel like tail, and then draw out the lining that makes his turtle shell look like a shell. When that is done you are ready to draw in the other arm, leg, hand, and foot. It looks like this drawing is starting to look like a baby version of Squirtel.
STEP 6.
Well, this is the last drawing step. As you can see all you ave to do is draw in the pattern on his belly which is the shell, and then draw in the eye lines that gives this chibi some eyeballs. Erase the lines and shapes that you drew in step one to clean up the drawing.
STEP 7.
