How to Draw a Clown

STEP 1.

Start this first step with an egg shape for the head and then add the facial guidelines in the middle as shown. You will next draw out the shape of the clown hair on both sides and then the shape of the neck ruffle that he wears as well.

STEP 2.

Okay start this next step by drawing a big upside down triangle on his forehead and them give hi two eye brows. you will next draw the clown eyes and the the shape of the clowns face, particularly the jaw line. Next give him a big wide open smile and then in the right side draw out the shaping of his curly hair and add his ears.

STEP 3.

Next thicken the eyebrows and then give the clown some eyeballs. You will next draw out the mouth outline that a typical clown would have and then draw out the curl on the left side of his head. You will then start drawing out the shape of the ruffle around the neck.

STEP 4.

All you will have to do is first draw a big perfect round circle for the nose and then a few eyelashes. Next detail the inside of the clowns ear as well as the ruffle around his neck. Give him a set of teeth and then a small curled tear drop at the top of the triangle. You will then erase all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one.

STEP 5.

Well this is the last drawing step and what you will be doing here is just adding some facial details that a typical clown would have on his decorated face. Start by drawing out the small pupils and then the triangle shapes on the cheeks. You will also draw swirls on the cheeks and nose and then add a circle decoration on the nose finish the step by add his tongue.

STEP 6.

Well this is it you are done. All you have to do now is color the clown the way you like using your own color grid. Or you can color him/her in the way I did, it doesn't really matter. That is it for now you have finished this tutorial on how to draw a cartoon clown face step by step. I will be back in a bit.

OMG! Thankis so much for this clown! My sister is afraid of them so I am going to draw it and put it in her room on Halloween night so I can scare her!!!!!!! hai
