How to Draw Baby Monkeys
Hey guys it’s me Dawn and I’m back today with a new lesson that is going to be super cute and super fun. To start the tutorial day off I will be showing you guys "how to draw baby monkeys", step by step. Even though the monkey is an adored species, people seem to forget that they can also be very dangerous. Anyways, that’s not going to be the case with these monkeys that you will be drawing because I made sure to create a pair that is safe to cuddle with, and easy to love. I had so much fun making this tutorial because I love drawing chibi style and even cute types of animals like the two monkeys you see here. It’s going to be hard to choose which monkey will be your favorite, and because of this I suggest that you forget about choosing, because it’s going to be an impossible decision to make. Overall the one thing that you will have a choice to do is tackle this tutorial on "how to draw monkeys" at your own pace. I do hope you have as much fun as I did when you begin this lesson. STEP 1.
Begin by drawing two body frames. First, draw two heads, and then draw the shapes for each body. Add a guideline to the face, and then move to step two.
STEP 2.
The first monkey you will be drawing is the one to the left. Begin by sketching out the shape of the head, and the large ears. When you are done make sure to draw out the one piece of hair strand on the head.
STEP 3.
Lets begin working on the monkey's face by sketching out the front hair line that separates the fur from the skin. Next, draw out the large eyes, and then his cute smile. Detail inside of the monkey's ear and then move to step four.
STEP 4.
Once you are finished with this step, the monkey's face will be all done. You can draw in the eyeballs, and then sketch in the nose holes.
STEP 5.
Now it's time to start drawing out the body starting with the shoulder, arm, and hand that is relaxing on the ground. Draw the belly and leg with an attached foot.
STEP 6.
To finish off the monkey's body all you have to do is draw out the other leg and foot and then draw in the marking line on the belly. Erase the lines and shapes that you drew in step one for this baby monkey only.
STEP 7.
Now that the first monkey is drawn, you can begin drawing out the head for the monkey to the right. Sketch in the hair, and then draw out the outline for a cheek and ear.
STEP 8.
Okay, sketch out the mask around the monkey's head which is the hair and skin separation. Next draw out the eyes, eyeballs, and then the monkey's nose and mouth. Add some wrinkles on the bridge of the nose.
STEP 9.
Okay guys, you are finally almost done with this tutorial. Draw out a majority of the monkey's body starting with the arm, hand, stomach, and leg which is up in the air.
STEP 10.
This monkey is holding a banana with both his foot and hand. Draw out both, and then draw in the banana. Sketch in the hair line on the ankle, and wrist, and then draw in the banana detailing.
STEP 11.
Now just draw out the tail. Erase the lines and shapes that you made in step one and move along to see what your baby monkeys look like when they are finished.
STEP 12.
Here are your baby monkeys when you are all done. Color them in and show someone what incredible work you just did. Thanks for joining me for another fun tutorial on how to draw baby monkeys.Post a comment
