How to Draw Black Star, Soul Eater
Now because I have been getting requests for Soul Eater characters, I am about to submit another tutorial on a male figure from the anime and manga series. Grab those drawing pencils guys because you are about to go on a journey that will teach you "how to draw Black Star" from Soul Eater, step by step. Like I said in the previous lesson on Soul Evans, I’m not an avid fan of the series. I know some information on the characters because I had to do a little research on them. As far as I know Black Star is what you call a real arrogant figure from the series. Even though he is a ninja, and the meister of Tsubaki, you would think that he is nothing more than a loud mouth trouble maker that has an ego that is the size of Asia. Now because Black Star has such a big personality, it is almost impossible for him to get a sneak attack in when facing an opponent. The one thing that sounds cool about Star is how much of a skilled fighter he is. He literally can fight without weapons if he had to. His character design sort of reminds me of those from Kingdom Hearts. Either way I think you will enjoy this lesson on drawing Black Star especially if you are a fan of the anime series and or manga. STEP 1.
Draw a head shape and then sketch out the shape of the torso, pelvic area and then add the guidelines for the limbs which is the legs, and feet.
STEP 2.
The next thing you want to do is sketch out the shape of Black Star's face structure including the outline of his ear. Sketch out the pointed razor like hair line, and then move to step three.
STEP 3.
Since Black Star always has this mean expression on his face, begin drawing out the brows, eyes, and then the mouth.
STEP 4.
Draw out his hair which looks like a star-burst. This should be easy because there is only like six points to his hairstyle.
STEP 5.
Sketch out Black Star's upper body which is his jacket. Start with the collar, and then work your way down the back, and waist. Next, draw out the arm which is crossed, and make sure that there is wrinkles, and folds.
STEP 6.
Sketch out the stitching to make a sleeveless jacket, and then add detailing to his shoulder and elbow. When that is done you can sketch in the zipper, and then draw out the other arm.
STEP 7.
At this point he looks he is wearing a skirt, but it will be drawn to look like his pants in future steps. Sketch out the belt and be sure to add the spikes on the pants too.
STEP 8.
Now you will begin sketching out the stitching to the pants to turn the skirt into a pair of wide legged pants. Draw a hem at the bottom and then draw in more lining that will detail the clothing. Draw the pockets and draw the zipper.
STEP 9.
As you can see Black Star is almost done. Sketch out his legs that are exposed and then sketch out the top half of the shoes as well as the back part.
STEP 10.
Finish this tutorial by drawing out the rest of the shoes like so, and if you really look you can see that his feet resemble that of Goofy. Erase the lines and shapes that you drew in step one.
STEP 11.
Here is what he looks like when you are all done. Now you can color him in. I hope you enjoyed this lesson on how to draw Black Star.Comments: Post Comment

Yeah same with me. As it says in the comments, I have not played A New Beginning, but I watched some YouTube videos with cutscenes mashed together, and she looks bad@$$!! I have played Dawn of the Dragon, though, and I always played as her. 
Not sure what's my absolute favorite dragon, but she is one of them.
