How to Draw Boomer, Redakai

1

Begin this lesson by drawing out two parts of Boomer's body, the head, and torso. Draw in the face guide, and then add the neck, and arms.

2

Sketch out Boomer's face structure like you see here, and then draw out his head scarf which pulls back his hair. Be sure to include the ear shape.

3

Boomer has a very series, but friendly expression on his face. Draw out the downward eyebrows, and then sketch out the eyes. Draw the nose, and mouth or grin.

4

Boomer has dreadlocks style hair. When you begin sketching out the hair notice how the locks are in chunks. Add some detailing inside of the ear, and then draw the eyeballs.

5

Draw the thick neck, and then draw the shirt collar line as well. When that is done you can begin sketching out Boomer's vest or jacket like so, and be sure to add the pockets and sleeves.

6

Add detailing to the pockets to the left and right, and then draw out more pockets. Sketch in the strong looking muscular arms, and then make the lines for the shirt sleeves. Begin drawing the belt and move to step seven.

7

Add the seam line on the sleeve, and then draw out Boomer's utility wrist bracelets. Detail them to make sure that they look real useful. Draw the one of the pouches for the utility belt, and proceed to step eight.

8

Now it's time to draw Boomer's hands and as you can see they are relaxed on the sides of his body. Draw out the belt and the same Aztec buckle. Detail the pouch and thats it.

9

For the last step all you need to do is draw the thighs and pants, and then draw in the zipper seam lines. Erase the lines and shapes that you drew in step one.

10

Here is your new character when you are all done with this tutorial. Color him in and be on your way. I hope you liked this tutorial on how to draw Boomer.

Description: Here is another character from the new upcoming show that will be airing on Cartoon Network sometime this June. He is also part of Team Sax along with Ky and Maya. I think I forgot to mention that each figure from Team Sax has a signature monster and for Ky it is ‘Metanoid’. Now even though Ky is the leader, this guy is what you call the comic relief of the three. To go along with Ky, you will be taught "how to draw Boomer", step by step and he is a character that is full of life. Boomers signature monster is ‘Froztok’. His unique physic is the perfect form for tough fighting and strong sense of honor. He stays true to his friends, and when his good friend Ky is in need of his help, he is right there by his side. Both Ky and Boomer where students of Master Boaddai, and even though he is right where he’s supposed to be, Boomer sometimes has difficulties knowing if Team Sax is where he belongs. Have fun drawing Boomer from Redakai, I will be back with one more lesson for you all. Adios mi amigos!
