How to Draw Katsuma

1

Draw a circle for the head, and then draw another shape for the body. When that is done you can add a guideline for the face and a tail.

2

Here you will need to draw out the entire shape or structure of Katsuma's head and don't forget to draw in the fuzz on the front of the head. Draw in the big bunny like ear, and move to step three.

3

Draw out the right ear and as you can see it looks to be floppy.

4

The next thing to do is draw in Katsuma's eyes which have a very angry looking expression. Color in the nose and draw out the mouth and two sharp teeth.

5

Next, color in some strip patterns on the ears, and then draw out and color in diamond shape on the forehead like so. When the ears and head is done you can tackle the eyes by coloring in the pupils and eyeballs drawn.

6

Now it's time to draw out the body which should include the stubby arms, and foot.

7

Draw the other leg and foot, and then get Katsuma's tail drawn in as well.

8

Color in a half moon shape on his stomach and then color in some of the tail tip. Erase the lines and shapes that you drew in step one.

9

Here is Katsuma when you are all done. Now you can color it in and be on your way to the next tutorial you may come across.

Description: You now have access to a tutorial based on some Moshi Monsters right? Well, one of the monster characters from the online game site has also been a recurring request in my mailbox. I have been asked about fifty times to make a lesson on "how to draw Katsuma", step by step. There isn't going to be a whole lot I can say in this description because the tutorial is based on a monster pet and as you know, there is limited stuff you could say about any six of them. From looking at Katsuma you automatically relate the animal to a rabbit. This monster has a very active and outgoing personality, and it is also a very colorful figure. Begin orange and red, it's hard to miss this Katsumanese monster from a long distance. I guess this is one of the more popular Moshi Monsters and I can see why it would be. To me, it reminds me of the rabbit and skunk character from Skunk Fu. Since this is a very simple animal/monster to make, you should enjoy yourself as you draw Katsuma. I will be back with some other fun things you can draw so try and stay tuned in to see what I will upload next!
