How to Draw Chibi Aang
I really thought I did a lesson on chibi Aang but I was wrong, it was actually another artist that did. Now because I didn't do a tutorial on "how to draw chibi Aang", step by step, that is what you will be tackling first to start the day. Of course that's only if you choose to do so. Drawing a chibi version of Aang was so much fun because I got to sketch and play with action poses and facial expressions. I love the way that he ended up coming out, and I also had a blast as I drew him while I was live yesterday. There is so many ways you can draw Aang and this chibi version is probably one of the best ways to do so. I have to go because there is a lot for me to get done before the nights end. STEP 1.
Aang is going to be super simple to draw in chibi form. The first thing you need to do is draw out a circle shape for his head, and then add a guideline inside the circle. Next, draw a body and move to step two.
STEP 2.
Now thicken the lining you drew for the head shape as well as sketch out the structure of his face. When you are done, make the bump on the right side for his ear.
STEP 3.
Now we will start having some fun. Draw out the large shapes of his eyes, and then draw the eyebrows the way you see them expressed here. Next, draw in his always friendly smile.
STEP 4.
Now you can draw in Aang's arrow on his head, and then draw in his eyeball shapes which should be pretty big but not bigger then his eye sockets. Lastly, detail inside of his ear.
STEP 5.
You can now begin sketching out his body starting with the arms, torso, and bottom. The bump you see is going to be chibi Aang's leg, and the upper body is his clothing.
STEP 6.
Continue to draw out his body until you have a drawing like the one you see here. This should include the rest of his legs, the waist, his skinny sash, and then the small pointed feet.
STEP 7.
And finally, draw in chibi Aang's staff as well as the other arm and hand. Erase the lines and shapes that you drew in step one to clean up the drawing.
STEP 8.

Its not bad, lightning, really. Just keep drawing and keep going! ^^ I read in an article somewhere once that on average out of every 10 drawings a person will do, 3 will stand out and be considered 'really good' so dont put your abilities down like that! You learn as you go along the way. .gif "smile")
