How to Draw Chibi Katara, Avatar

1

Draw a round shape for the head, and then draw out the shape of her sitting body. Sketch out the facial guidelines and move to step two.

2

Sketch out the shape and structure of her head and face like you see here, and then you will need to sketch out the line for her bangs and be sure to add that small slit.

3

Now instead of sketching, you need to draw out the very thick, and bold eyelids and lashes like you see here. Make small eyebrow lines, and then move to step four.

4

Now make the beads that her braids are attached too, and then draw her braids in loops like so. Next, draw in the shapes of her eyes like so and move to step five.

5

Now you are ready to draw out her body lining first, and then draw out her baby like arms and hands like so. Her right hand is in an active waterbending pose, and then draw out the bottom of her feet.

6

Now you can sketch out her clothing and be sure to make the top criss cross over one another like so. Draw out the trim and sketch in her belt and wrinkle on the flap.

7

Now, draw in the water swirl that chibi Katara is bending right now. Erase the lines and shapes that you drew in step one to clean up this amazing drawing.

8

Here is Katara when you are all done. Now you have to color her in to finish this drawing off. I told you that you would have fun with this tutorial on how to draw chibi Katara.

Description: So everybody suggested that I make tutorials of all the Last Airbender characters in chibi form. So far I have Aang, Toph, and Zuko. I still have three more characters to go not including this one I am submitting now. I thought today would be a good day to teach you guys "how to draw chibi Katara", step by step. She is the waterbender that Aang falls in love with way before Katara had feelings for him. She is also the sister of Sokka, and together, Aang, Sokka, and Katara embark on the journey to getting Aang the teachings he needs to become the AVATAR, and to stop Fire Lord Ozai. I had so much fun making Katara in chibi form because she actually looks like a little baby. I also included her waterbending skill by drawing a blob of water to the right of her. I also thought that she would look awesome sitting in a baby like position, and to tell you the truth I was right. Everything that we know about Katara is all reflected in her chibi status. I hope you enjoy this lesson on "how to draw chibi Katara", and when you are done you will have four of the main characters from the series with only three more to go. Adios people and enjoy the rest of your drawing day!
