How to Draw Chibi Zuko
The Last Airbender has been such an influence on some of my siblings lives, that they are true fans of the animated series that airs on Nickelodeon. When the DVD came out for the movie version of AVATAR: The Last Airbender, my brother went out and bought the blu-ray the very same day it was available in stores. There was a few disappointing things with some of the characters and on how some of the character names where pronounced, but in general the movie was good enough to buy and watch a few times every week. Today I will be filling a request on a very special character from the AVATAR series, and I say special because he is one character that has been through so much as he changed for the better to become a leader for the Fire Nation instead of his sadistic, violent sister or father. I hope you are up for the challenge as I show you "how to draw chibi Zuko", step by step. This chibi version of Zuko is definitely going on my top ten chibi list because he came out almost perfect. I think I captivated the very essence as to who Zuko really is in this chibi form, as well as making him look incredibly adorable. The tutorial should be easy enough for anyone to tackle, but you may run into a few walls with some of the detailing. Nonetheless the mild complexity is definitely something you can overlook because learning "how to draw chibi Zuko" is such an epic task to take. I shall return once again and instead of one more tutorial there is two more. Peace out and have fun.

STEP 1.
Draw the round shape for his head, and then draw out the shape of the body. You will then need to draw out the facial guidelines, and then move to step two.
STEP 2.
Here you will begin sketching out the shape of chibi Zuko's face like you see here, and then sketch out the shape of his head and or hairstyle outline. When that is done draw in the ears, and then add a single hair strand or two on his head.
STEP 3.
Sketch in the bangs which are all pointed ends, and then draw out the top lining for his eyes as well. Before you go detail inside of his ears.
STEP 4.
Okay, some of you may find this step complex, but if you take your time you should get through it okay. Draw out his eyes and as you can see the left eye is normal, but the right eye is not. The left eyebrow needs to be drawn and colored in as well. You will also need to color in some of the left eye like you see here in this step. Once you are done make the burned marking line which is in the form of a zig zag.
STEP 5.
Now draw out chibi Zuko's torso like so, and then draw in the arms or sleeves as well. Take your time, don't rush because if you try your best you will end up with an awesome drawing.
STEP 6.
Okay, draw the left arm and hand and then draw out the right hand. When you are done you can draw out the top section of the lower body which is the pelvic area. Add some detailing and move to step seven.
STEP 7.
Sketch out chibi Zuko's legs or baggy pants like so, and as you can see the ends of the pants have pleats. Draw the back tail as you can faintly see.
STEP 8.
For the last drawing step, all you have to do is draw out the rest of his legs in chibi form, and then add the detailed stitched lining along the bottom of his short and around his left arm. Erase the lines and shapes that you drew in step one to finish him off.
STEP 9.
Here is what your new form of Zuko looks like when you are all done. The best part to this lesson is the coloring aspect of it. Once you are done coloring him in, you can choose to add a flame ball in his hand like I did, or just do something that you want to do. But there is no secret, I just practice a lot! But I'm not that good either. When you see other people's artwork on this site and things like youtube, mine in comparison are quite bad. I'd like to get my portraits to be more realistic, but that stuff's too tricky for me
