I'm sure you are all familiar with Samus from Metroid, and I bet you are also familiar with the fact that she appears in SSBB. I did two tutorials on this Metroid star but another request for her has surfaced once again. I was asked if I could make a lesson on "how to draw Zero Suit Samus", step by step. This is just the image that Samus takes on once her Power Suit is deactivated. Her sleek suit is all blue in color with shades of pink on the back and on the tops of her gloved hands. The Zero Suit is what she wears underneath her Power Suit and because it is a skin tight form fitting flexible suit, she is able to do acrobatic moves that she could never do in her bulky Power Suit. Her figure is very shapely once she deactivates or destroys the Power Suit. Her entire body is covered from neck to toe of a leotard type fabric that looks almost rubbery. We first get a glimpse of her jumpsuit in Metroid: Zero Mission which is the game I played with my brother. We had to defeat a dragon like creature while she wore her Zero Suit. It may have been another saga, but I'm pretty sure it was Zero Mission. Even though she doesn't have as much shielding abilities while in the Zero Suit, she is much more agile. You have to be sure you know what you're doing when playing Samus in her blue suit state because she takes on more damage than usual due to lack of armor. One good thing about the suit is the fact she is able to do all kinds of jumps and grappling movies. She can also crawl on all fours, or her belly to squeeze into tight spaces. One thing she does keep by her side is the Paralyzer which is as you know her weapon of choice. Anyways, drawing Samus Aran in this form is going to be a whole lot easier than drawing her in her Power Suit. At least you don't have to worry about sketching in all those fine detailing lines. If you are a fan of Metroid, you should enjoy this tutorial which will teach you "how to draw Zero Suit Samus". I still have two more lessons coming your way guys so stay tuned in to see what they are going to be. Peace people!
