First things first. Start this step by drawing an odd shaped circle for Kermit's head and then two smaller circles for his eyes. Then draw an egg shape for his torso or body. After you get that done you can go ahead and draw out the guidelines for the arms and legs with the shapes of his feet attached.

Step 2.

Now what you will do first in this step is start shaping out the head to make it look more real. After you do that you can then draw out the shape of his open frog like mouth and the shape of his chin. You now have to draw out the shapes of his arms as well as draw in the fingers. The legs are the next things to start shaping out along with the left foot.

Step 3.

Okay the next and last thing that you will be doing in this last drawing step is draw out and shade in the pupils of Kermit's eyes. Next draw the pointed ruffle that he has going around his neck. Next draw out the legs and shape out the frog like feet. After you are happy with the results you can go ahead and start erasing the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one.

Step 4.

After you clean up your drawing you should end up with a sketch that looks similar to the one you see above. That is it you just completed this tutorial on how to draw Kermit the Frog step by step. I know that was pretty easy huh? Well looks like the only thing you have to do now is color him in green. Okay people it is now my time to go and work on other things. Artist CommentsHello again folks and welcome back to another tutorial on DragoArt.com. For today’s last tutorial I am going to show you how to draw Kermit the Frog. Now I know that almost all of you are familiar with this character. He was created by the very talented puppeteer Jim Henson who is responsible for the very show that Kermit was on, The Muppet Show. Kermit the Frog was in fact Jim Henson’s most valuable and most recognized creation. Not only was Kermit the main character of The Muppet Show, he was also your host. If you remember he had a pal who I think was his best friend named Fozzie Bear and a female that was always going after Kermit named Miss Piggy. Miss Piggy was definitely Kermit’s number one fan. I remember watching the show on a rerun and her main goal was to get Kermit in her piggy clutches. Eventually Kermit gave in and the two did fall in love as shown on several movies that came out staring the cast of the Muppets.  I can remember watching Sesame Street as a kid and I use to wait for the segment when Kermit would appear as a news reporter for the Sesame Street News Flash. He was so funny when he would interview characters that were from nursery rhymes and sometimes he would interview police on the scene of a missing cookie. As a matter of fact that was Kermit's most famous role on Sesame Street. His friends from The Muppet Show was Gonzo, Sweetums, Sam the Eagle, The Swedish Chef, Dr. Teeth, Floyd, Animal, Capt. Link Heartthrob, Dr. Strangepork, Wayne and Wanda, Rowlf, Dr. Bunsen Honeydew, Scooter, Beauregard, Pops, Lew Zealand, Janice, Rizzo the Rat, and the two old men that use to sit in the balcony Statler and Waldorf. They use to say some fowl stuff about the show and the actors. They too were sometimes considered funny Muppets. It wasn’t just Jim Henson pulling the strings up there above the curtain, another gentleman by the name of Frank Oz use to puppeteer as well. Kermit the Frog was created and debuted in 1955 and he is still considered an oldie but goodie. I will show you how to draw Kermit the Frog step by step. The instructions make drawing this Muppet character simple to accomplish. I will be back tomorrow with more tutorials for your drawing enjoyment.
